I tried to create a squid, although it looks like something a 4-years-old couldve done... For the skin, I didn't try it yet, because I am not used to the minecraft-pixelstructure :3

That's fine. Draw it in whatever style you want. When you start out, it's important to draw in a way you're comfortable with. Then you can branch out :D

No problem <3. Don't stress whether it looks "ugly" or not. If you put effort into it and actually tried, I can't really ask for more :P

I started drawing by literally putting the paper on a screen and copying pictures then I moved to following speed arts to draw and after some time (6months) I got the hang of it and now I just draw things by taking features from different characters (the mouth from one, the eyes from another)
