ahem, in the first Pikmin game, in the Forest Navel, exists an enemy called the Puffstool
it is know to run around, spread spores
if pikmin get affected by the spores, they turn purple, lose head features, eyes become white and sorta have a look of apathy
they have a ting shroom in place of the leaf/bud/flower

in any case its not that
