I knew that's a thing, I just never use it.

Well. A lot of people use the 'following' fuction as a friend-button.
Rather than for its intended purpose.
To follow people's content.
And see when they are online.

I wanted to let people know about it, because a lot of people treat following as a friend button.

No, tbh I don't really know why I even commented

Also, even the people who know about don't really use it.
