Google uses an algorythm to remember what kind of channels you like and to reccomend more of that kind.This algorythm affects search bar too, if you try it on private/incognito the result should differ.

You sure? I typed in "gr" and the top result was Green Day. I hate Green Day.

That means you haven't looked at things starting with "gr".
If I type "C" into youtube, the first result is CaptainSparklez because I am subscribed and I watch him, and we both know there are things with "C" more famous and searched than that.

Well apparently Incognito mode doesn't exist on here, so I can't test it.
