1.9 Texture For Durability!

If u haven't heard for the 1.9 update you can change an items texture by its durability.
So that mean u can have 1000's of different looking weapons!

In that video it explains how the whole thing works and I hope you guys can do this. Maybe have the community design weapons to be added to the server!
Idk I like the idea of having the community design things for games it makes the game feel more in touch with its community.

 

Wynn is no where close to 1.9 it is not even 1.8 and the final version of 1.9 is far from done

This does seem like a good idea, though right now Wynncraft is still 1.7, 1.9 won't come for a long time.

 

How is this going to work with sticks?

 

By the way you can already retexture items to have different skins and stats, along with 3D weapons in 1.8

Hypixel already has 3D weapons for 1.8, and in the new Gavel teaser it's shown that each weapon is going to have a unique 3D texture. Sorry man, the devs figured out how to do this without 1.9 xD

 

Unique weapon textures will be a thing for the Gavel update, and it won't even be in 1.9!

 

What if Gavel comes as 1.9 ? OOOOOOO No!!!!!! jk lol... I'm hoping that it comes this mounth !

Even if Wynncraft would be updated to 1.9 this wont be added. I mean how would you add durabilitys for sticks?

 

ummmmm..... replace sticks with an item that has durability and re texture those?

3. A texture pack is coming for Wynn anyways
4. We need to fight the loopholes of 1.9 (spell system + dual wielding = ???)

 

Idk, If u u look at the Wynncraft gavel teaser, u can see a weapon has an attack speed modifier.. Thats a 1.9 feature.

Easy, spells can only be cast in mainhand.

Well, if you have something in your offhand and right click...

 

You can replace them with something such as hoes and use them instead.

 

It's like when you have mods that add blocks to the game, it won't let you take them to your hotbar or inventory.


Jumla could code a plugin to make it impossible to use the offhand?

Yeah but if it's a custom texture pack nobody would ever have to know that they're hoes

 

what if they click the ground?

you'd see a farmland for a split second.

 

I think Wynncraft has block editing completely disabled, so you wouldn't be able to hoe the ground at all.

 

Oh yeah, we have Adventure Mode...

 

Well, that will only work if u have something that has a right click function... Meaning U can't do spells when u have something in ur offhand? Whats so hard about this? It will just do that and cancel the spell. I mean it will work fine. Just U can't have anything with a right click function in ur offhand or it wont work. Or it might work, isnt really a big problem /:
