New Building Materal

Hi there!

I recently started building on our guild island and I noticed that there is not a lot of blocks to choose from.
I would love to see some new building material to make my builds look better.
My suggestions:
- Blocks that will give light (Glowstone, Lanterns). Placing candles everywhere looks a bit too much.
- Spruce trapdoors (normal trapdoors look nice, but spruce trapdoors give extra details)
- Deepslate bricks and/or stairs. Looks great on medieval builds.
- Stripped logs (Oak, birch, dark oak, spruce). Also gives extra detail to medieval house builds.

If any other builders have some suggestions, let me know in the comments! :)

For deepslate and lanterns, correct me if I'm wrong but Wynn still runs on older versions backend so niether could be used

 

Pretty sure glowstone is usable, everything else can't exist because the server runs on 1.12 internally

 

Yo let us put custom merchants/npcs in our housing islands

Maybe a few more furniture options too. and my limit is at like 8 or something for a single piece of furniture...

 

If you look through all of the Wynncraft map, you won't find a single stripped log, spruce trapdoor, lantern, or deepslate. If we had access to these blocks, we would be using them.

 

I know this is a longshot, but what are the odds of Wynncraft ever being moved internally to 1.20? I genuinely have no real idea how the bones of Minecraft servers work, so it may be impossible, but I'd like to imagine that updating server-side would allow for much greater flexibility as far as world design goes.

 

Admittedly, the build team having access to way more blocks would be a godsend, but I personally like how creative they’ve gotten with the limited palette they have.
