After the realm of Dern and Wastelands, the Wynncraft world will keep growing, right? I've got a couple of ideas for new areas that could be fun. Fell free to tell me any unfit, biased, implausible, or just plain stupid ideas. And make sure to answer the poll.

Underwater: Make the underwater part of the ocean actually interesting. Trees: Deep Oak only (its leaves are bioluminescent and its wood cannot be weakened by water). Ores: Coral, Aquamarine, Cobalt. Farming: Seagrass, Kelp. Fishing: Find underwater fishing spots of almost every regular land fish, along with the special addition of Anglerfish and Eel. Races: Aquafolk. (Can have many different variations)
Cities: Kolaria: The metropolis of the underwater world. Coral gardens, sea lanterns, made of Aquastone (kind of like prismarine in terms of color) and also coral blocks. People mostly get around by artificial currents. Reaia: It floats completely freely in the water amidst the Kelp Forest, made up of various pods of Aquastone, with anchored pathways connecting them. Souryia: The only settlement of humans below the surface. It is dug into the side of an underwater cliff, and its tunnels are dry. Afurnia: The lost city. It sunk into the depths of the Abyss ages ago, forgotten by those who dwell above. The Aquafolk who live there have adapted to the low light, developing bioluminescent features.
Regions: The Shallows. An area very close to the surface, full of sunlight, fish, other wildlife, and various small settlements. There are no major cities in this area. The Reefs: Only slightly lower than the Shallows, the reefs are distinguished by their colorful reefs, diverse wildlife, and the thriving city of Kolaria, while still being close enough to the surface to bring plenty of sunlight down. The Kelp Forest: The Kelp Forest is a sparsely populated area, and the only city, Reaia, gets little travel or trade. Most of their income comes from kelp farming. Beware that many dangerous creatures can hide behind the kelp. The Abyss: The deepest part of the ocean. The distance between the Abyss and the Kelp Forest in height is massive. Souryia lies in the massive steep drop off wall from the Kelp Forest to the depths. It is almost completely pitch dark down here, and any creatures that survive must either develop bioluminescent features or learn to see in the dark. The city of Afurnia lies forgotten in the depths, neglected and left to the mercy of the dire creatures that dwell down there. Miraculously, the Aquafolk of the forgotten city survived, and have learned to develop bioluminescent features similar to that of the local wildlife. They rarely talk.
Other Unique Features: Storyline. The storyline involves something terrible rising from the depths, immediately threatening the city of Afurnia and will then rise to destroy the rest of the underwater population, and threaten cities close to the coast, or maybe even the whole world. You meet several main characters in this storyline. You start in the shallows, and then Kolaria and the Reefs, and then move to Reaia, and then Souryia, and finally Afurnia. To allow breathing and regular player interaction in the ocean, the players must obtain a Air Amulet from someone in the Shallows (part of a quest) which creates a constant bubble of air when in it's unique slot. It has a unique slot much like the accessory slots for player convenience. Before completion of the quests unlocking each area, if you try to enter you will get a message depending on the area you are attempting to enter. ("You run out of air and have to swim back to the surface" for trying to enter the Reefs early, "you get tangled in the kelp and can barely make your way out" for the Kelp Forest, and for entering the Abyss early you literally die with the death message "[player name] was crushed by pressure.") This area also includes the addition of a new mount: the Laptia. They are bred and raised in a pen in Kolaria, and swim extremely fast underwater. They resemble sharks, with a few visual differences. Summoned using a Conch Shell. They excel at speed and altitude (now rising speed) but have poor handling and energy.
Raids and Dungeons: Temple of the Beast Raid: Enter the temple where the Beast's cult is trying to awaken the monster, slay various underwater enemies, traverse treacherous tunnels, and try to stop them before its too late... Coral Killer's Abode Dungeon: Cast out from Kolaria because of a treasonous crime he claims he didn't commit, a long forgotten criminal's plan has come into action. Stop them before they lay waste to the Reef, and potentially the Kelp Forest or Shallows as well.

Kenchaya Province: You should add an Asia like continent. Trees: Blossom, and adding a little but of fantasy vibe, Giant bonsai. Imagine a Bonsai tree. Now imagine it bigger. you've got the picture. Fish? Koi, Shrimp, Salmon. Farming? Rice, Barley, Tea. Mining? Jade, Ruby, Sapphire. Races: Mixed.
Cities: Tachytaya: Main city. The classic roofing style, sliding doors, paper lanterns, about the size of Cinfras, maybe bigger. Katecha: In the middle of the Cherry Forest, it's a treetop village similar to Aldwell, only cherry blossom themed. Would be super cool. Aka: A poor town. Straw roofs, small houses, muddy streets. Not the happiest place. Lochita: A port town, lots of piers, boats and fishermen, but with the same Asia style. Manduro: A mountain village, with houses built straight into the sides of the sheer cliffs. It's got a very vertical building style, with hanging walkways, elevated plazas, snow covered cherry blossoms, and thatched roofing.
Regions: Cherry Blossom Forest. A huge forest of cherry blossoms, home to and dotted with massive cherry trees. The wildlife here is somewhat mild; although the hostile ones pack quite the punch. Wetlands. The biggest rice-farming industry in the world; the location of Aka; although they farm a lot of rice, most of it goes to the capital, and they keep little food and profits for themselves. Afeya Highlands: A large region of steep cliffs, steep slopes, sparse cover of cherry blossoms, and the location of Manduro. Lots of narrow walkways and catwalks. The hot springs are a very popular attraction here, with the most popular being the Yunaya Hot Springs, which are a very scenic and serene place. Mauro Grove: A medium sized grove of giant bonsai trees, nestled in a valley in the middle of the Afeya Highlands.
Other Unique Features: Questline. The main story is that as you progress through the different areas (Lochita, then Aka, then Katecha, then Manduro, and finally Tachytaya) you participate in a multi part storyline involving other main characters and deal with a problem involving a person attempting to overthrow the Emperor's rule by spreading corrupt information throughout Tachytaya, which threatens the entire province.
Raids and Dungeons: Obviously I'm not going to list All the caves, discoveries, world events, and mini quests, but I'll name some major content: Emperor's Palace Raid: Enter the emperor's palace, do lots of areas involving sneaking around, fighting off legions, and seek out the location of the traitor before its too late and the final stages of the plan have unfolded. Edaichi's Monastery Dungeon: Take on a variety of challenges in the monastery located in the Mauro Grove, and seek to prove your skills to the grandmaster Edaichi.

The ocean desperately needs a rework; it's basically unchanged since Wynncraft first launched. As someone who finds aquatic ecosystems fascinating, it's pretty disappointing when you look under the water and see dirt and sand and literally nothing else for 99% of the ocean.

I'm sure CT is aware of ocean problem

    Isn't Fruma Asian based?

I feel like I should probably also respond to the actual suggestions; I like your vision for the ocean, although I don't know how well the exact details fit into the game. I do think human settlement down there is kinda weird; I think we need more non-human areas to get a more rich and populated world, but that's just personal preference. I don't know about a raid there; I feel like raids are typically meant to be for things that are important to the overall story, but TNA exists, so idk. I really just want the ocean to not be a flat, boring expanse with nothing in it.

I feel like the idea of an East-Asian-inspired area doesn't really fit Wynncraft; while Fruma has actually taken a degree of inspiration from that, it does feel like they've tried to distance themselves from real-world locations or cultures in favor of making their own. I doubt they would want to add something like that, and it neither fits in with the world in that sense, nor does it make a ton of sense to exist with the lore we have now. Also, a giant bonsai is just... a regular tree?

I really don't know where we'd go after Dern, cause after that the forces are (presumably) at equal footing
I've had an idea for a bit that Orphion could try and take over the world now that he isn't being given the short end of the stick, leading to a more dangerous part of the realm of light (something tells me this won't happen)

I'd sorta assumes we'd kill Orphion and Saphanis?

But wait, can we kill them? Anathema could be killed after hard work by four, but she's also self-described to be a lesser being.

Were gonna facing the war more interactive.
The conflict between light and darkness, they are entirely different, might not be so bad thing to exist, different from human’s.
We may not be gonna “stopping” the war but “isolating” it.

If they're going to do an ocean rework, then they need an aquatic mount. But I mostly like the idea, although I feel that whatever happens with the realm of Dern and the wastelands might be the end. Because by the time you're fighting gods what more is there to do? Balance will be restored so... I feel like the developers want to refine other areas and update them before they move on to new content.
