When I first got to this quest in Wynncraft, I was excited to finally see an important figure in the lore appear out of nowhere. However, this excitement soon faded, as he didn't really do much.

    1. He only appears for a few minutes at the end.

    2. He just throws basic mobs at you when you try and chase him.

    3. You don't get to fight him. If you try to approach, Lari says he's strong enough to destroy you, but,

    1. He doesn't do anything that shows he's a step above the foes we've faced, in secret discoveries all he really does is defeat basic guards. Considering at that point in the story, we've faced foes such as the Corrupter of Worlds and Amadel, that alone isn't enough to paint him as a major threat.

    2. He loses to Bob, who we defeat, or at least prove we have the strength of, and fights to a standstill with Lari, who we fight to a standstill with. (He also loses to the Corrupter of Worlds in AHC but you wouldn't know that yet). So logically, it would make sense that we could at least keep up with him, especially fighting alongside Lari.

I don't have an issue with the player not defeating Bak'al at this point, but nothing in the game suggests that you can't.

Regardless of his strength, he should get to do more in this quest.

(Also not the point of the post but having to fight your reflection is wasted potential, it does not feel like fighting your reflection at all).

    This is wrong

It predates the moveset system so it isn't particularly interesting

Bak'al doesn't need more in this quest I don't think, he just needs more before it. He needs to have more of a presence so you're more familiar with him & his capabilities prior to this event

That's not the real Bob, just a... recreation? To my knowledge it's never really explained what it is, but I'm fairly certain it's not anywhere near as strong as the real Bob given the lore we have. And frankly with how old that lore is I'm not even sure if the quest is even still canon.
He doesn't "lose" to the CoW, he gets his army wiped out.

Anyways, I do agree his appearance in RoL was disappointing and I have in the past gone through an unprecedented and borderline obsessive amount of lore to put Bak'al on fraud watch, eventually concluding that we could absolutely beat him in a fight. That being said, if we beat his ass at the end of RoL then there'd need to be another excuse for Larry to get smeckledorfed into Dern... though to be honest, there should be another excuse anyways because getting ragebaited by a guy who does nothing but bitch work for his boss isn't really a good look for either of their characters. Not that the rest of RoL is doing Lari's character any favors, mind you.
