Parkour is my least favorite element of Wynncraft!

    Haha just kidding... unless????

Nah don't make it all optional but for Orphion's sake please do the same thing the Canary Calls does with the minecart puzzle and after so many failed attempts just give us a "hey buddy, you look like you're having problems" button.

This is more of a rant (and obvious skill issue) than an actual suggestion but hey if some of the content team agrees that at least a few of the parkour sections are total BS and need a rework then maybe some good will come of it. Y'all are doing great on the updates btw :)

It wouldn't be so annoying if not for the fact that certain builds struggle with it in some cases. As someone who has had exceptional difficulty with some parkour because of the build I was using, I can definitely say that it needs some rework to help edge cases not get stuck at the very least. I'm not good at parkour to begin with, so as soon as you get weird walkspeed or jump heights, a lot of them become difficult or borderline impossible for someone of my skill level to do (nothing more fun than having to take off all your gear to do a parkour section). I also know someone who stopped playing, in part because they have a tendon issue in their hands and quick, repeated motions (such as timed jumping) cause them pain, so from an accessibility standpoint, even for people who don't skill issue like me there are problems with it being as prevalent and mandatory as it is.

Parkour's rather outdated anyway, isn't it?

I think the repeated motions of constantly clicking to attack/cast spells would be more of a problem on that front?

I agree for two reasons. One, seeing someone's reaction when a game gives them a "hey buddy wanna switch to easy mode?" message is always hilarious.
And two, Wynncraft parkour is extremely outdated and boring.

I think the issue is that it's literally just vanilla Minecraft parkour haphazardly put into a game that isn't Minecraft. It's based entirely on how much movement speed and jump height you would have if you were playing normal Minecraft, not in any way accounting for Wynncraft's entire premise of having various different stats and IDs that explicitly include making you faster, slower, or jump higher than normal. And these buffs or nerfs can become so outrageous that they make parkour quite literally impossible without taking your armor off or /classing to remove your other buffs. That's to say nothing of movement spells as well.
And the absolute worst part of it all, is that it's not even fun. It's, again, just Minecraft parkour.

I think it's possible to make fun and engaging parkour, as proven by the Outer Void. Undergrowth Ruins also has really fun parkour and so does The Strong Survive (despite its general jankiness) as well as some other places. The key difference between these parkours and everything else is that they use Wynncraft-exclusive mechanics to make it fun. And most of these mechanics (aside from the slime) are not used anywhere else, which makes it unique even within the context of Wynncraft.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I was talking more about the concept of good parkour in Wynncraft and it's hard to explain but the Strong Survive's parkour came to mind because of the "idea" and mechanics of it are really good, it's just that the extremely severe jankiness of the launching makes it really really dumb because it makes you not launch far enough to land on the next platform for seemingly no reason. If the launching was as polished as Outer Void then it'd be perfect and there'd be no issues, but that jankiness just makes it annoying to actually do, which I think comes from Fruma being unfinished at launch.
