Alright, so I didn't really express my last idea that well. This is the real thing. In terms of town improvements, I think the current ones are really good, but they still leave a lot to be desired. Since Wynncraft is supposed to be an immersive, medieval styled RPG game, Im going to directly address all you people who left comments about the necessity/conveniency of my last ideas. I say this to you: What were the developers probably thinking about towns when they made Wynncraft? Did they think of them as just a bunch of merchant stands, and a place where players can movement spell in, spam the buy button on a bunch of healing potions, dump some random stuff in a bank, then jump over the walls and leave at top speed? Or were the supposed to be actual places where people went, why else would they add decorations, fast travels in them, and interactive NPCS who can tell you stuff? Towns aren't supposed to be a place where the only thing you do in them is rush in and rush out and maybe, MAYBE buy some stuff in them. They're supposed to be active, bustling marketplaces, with bars, taverns, shops, and more. They want towns to be immersive, cool little places where you can restock, not just run in and run out, but stay a while, figure out if there's any quests in the area or other content, recover your health after a close raid fight. They're not in-and-out places. They're a place for players to stay in for a bit. Why do you think they have Guard Golems? It's not just for decoration y'know. They kill monsters coming towards the front gates. Why? SO THAT PLAYERS DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING ATTACKED INSIDE. Why did they bother to add large scale, decorative buildings to each of them? If towns were the bare minimum, they would just be a cluster of merchants in the middle of nowhere. Decoration and Immersion are important parts of Wynncraft's RPG adventure-game type style. So I'm saying this to all of you right now: IMMERSION IS IMPORTANT. SO TO ALL YOU GRINDING, GLAZED OVER BIG-HEADED GUILD OWNERS OUT THERE, THIS MESSAGE IS DIRECTED TO YOU. DO YOU HEAR ME?! So anyway, now that that's over with, I can correct my mistakes in the previous post. Ok so you guys were saying how it would disperse the point of healing classes and potions? Well here's my reasoning: Could you go to a town and go into an inn during the middle of a raid, dungeon, or grinding session when you're low? Can you go to an inn when your in the middle of nowhere and were just attacked and barely survived random enemies? Here's the answer. NO. NO YOU CANNOT. AND GUESS WHAT? THAT. IS. WHAT. HEALING CLASSES AND POTIONS ARE FOR!!!!!!! OMGOMGOMG, surprise, right? Wow it's almost like they are useful after all. Its almost like YOU CAN'T CARRY AN INN WITH YOU INTO THE WARTORN PALACE.
