Back during the festival of the bonfire, I went back to Pirate Town for the first time in ages, and it was memorable... for the wrong reasons. Unlike most towns, there's no obvious town square where most/all the shops are or an extremely clear path (ignoring the signs) to follow, and instead they're just kind of scattered on the top level. The signage is good, but it prioritizes the powder master over the bank, blacksmith, or item identifier for some reason, and its not ideal from an aesthetic standpoint. I feel a lot of this could be solved by moving the shops down to the bottom level, and putting them in a (obviously curving) row.

I remember bringing a flame to the cove! Luck for me my adventures with that greedy dumbass godawful motherf-... sorry, I meant Javier had taught me a bit about that places layout.

It would help with the Javier quest by making the bank actually visible and not making you think you need to head over to Selchar

At the very least it needs a bit of a redesign to actually make it clear where things are; it's a nightmare to navigate as it is. I love the idea, but in practice it feels very annoying to find whatever you're looking for.

On the contrary, I think it should be redesigned to be EVEN MORE three-dimensional! Imagine an actual cove (maybe crescent shaped or smth) where you can use your movement spells or jump pads or some other fun method to get around a vertical town! Put the bank front and center where the port is, then all the other fun little places up and around the sides :)

Presumably won't be rebuilt until a full Ocean revamp.
