Should wynncraft add inns, restaurants, and improve town npcs?

  2. That would ruin wynncraft. (Don't know why you would choose this, but...)

I think that wynncraft should add inns. Honestly I don't know why they haven't added them already. You could just pay like 12-20 emeralds to buy a room key, then open a room and sleep in a bed to full heal. It's not that hard. Also, time changes would not be needed, even if they were client side. Just sleep for 24 hours. Also, I think they should add more restaurants and bar, where you could actually buy food instead of just drinks. I think that all townspeople should be npcs. They could have regular cycles of what they would do and what they would say depending ons time. Get rid of the "(Town Name) Citizen" mobs.

There are already some bars like Jofash, Nemract, Rust Recruit to name a few. Only thing I don't like is how only Nemract whisky actually gets you drunk, all the other alcohol actually gives you good effects.
Would be kinda cool ig. I think the Sauna in Nessak accelerates regen already?
No. Who am I gonna see swimming in the fountain in Selchar? Who am I gonna beat up randomly? Who am I gonna find in Ragni's moat, or in the oddest places, ditches, and dikes of the fair land of Wynn

what is the point of going to an inn when healing potions or the heal spell or .. natural regeneration exist, other than interacting with a few NPCs?

Interacting with those NPCs and adding flavor to the world. Most people probably wouldn't use it, since it wouldn't be optimal gameplay, but for people who like immersion or who like the idea of having some small, vaguely realistic world-building, it'd be nice.

I'd love to have more shops selling stuff like food or unique trinkets or something. It makes exploring and being different places more rewarding. Selling ingredients would also help with leveling professions if you're into that sort of thing. Personally I'd just like to have a reason to explore cities beyond just "ooh, cool city" because lots of really cool builds just feel pointless except as set dressing. How many people have actually checked out most of the buildings in, say, Cinfras or Thesead or even Detlas really? If I knew I might find someone selling a potion of jump height or a bakery with a variety of foods or a black market merchant selling a unique dagger (hey that one actually exists!) or even a reincarnation of the scam merchant, I'd be way more interested in checking out all the random buildings in cities.

Why add inns specifically to a bunch of towns when there could just be more NPCs to interact with in general

Because the inns would be incredibly niche, not provide much interaction with the world (you're just buying a room), and they also take time to set up? It'd require most towns to have parts rebuilt so an Inn could be wedged into there somewhere, and creating an inn system and setting up all the NPCs isn't a one-day-affair either. It's just a lot of time and effort into something that doesn't add much to immersion or gameplay

I actually do like the idea of inns, but specifically in the way FFXIV uses them since obviously you'll probably be full health in a town anyways (and if you aren't, that's just something that should be done about safe zones in general, not "inns" specifically). So, you'd have your own little inn room with its own cute little theme. Not every place would have one so there wouldn't be a great need to make more room. But maybe you could make and save loadouts for both equipment and cosmetics, and any time a certain music track plays in the world somehow, it'd be unlocked for you to be playable in the inn room via an in-world music box in the corner of your room. The jukebox that you can use anywhere would still be rank-exclusive though.

It would be neat to see buildings like inns, but they really don't need functionality.
