Website & Forums Remove Enderclaw as a moderator.

Let me be clear; the problem is not just with one single member of the Moderation team, but has been a well-known problem in this community for years. It is time that something changed.

Enderclaw has now had multiple players come forward with evidence that they have abused their position as Moderator to fear-monger members with the threat of a perma-ban if they do not lie through text about their alleged involvement in bugs/glitches/hacks to fit a narrative that they have set.

As much as I would like to believe this is an isolated incident, spurred on by multiple fraudulent attempts to circumvent responsibility by ACTUAL guilty parties, There has been too much evidence (by way of videos demonstrating lack of macros/cheats and explanations of what happened by CREDIBLE community members, as well as screenshots shared via Discord for fear that posting them on the forums would result in retaliation by the Moderation team.)

This is not to place blame on the entire Mod team, but it is obvious that there is an abuse of authority going overlooked that cannot be allowed to continue. It would be easy to dismiss a message like this with a "cringe-level serious tone" as yes, this is just a video game, but there is a financial element to this problem as well. If trust in the Mod team continues falling, there are many players who have expressed that they would withhold any further financial support for the server.

Even if not removed, I ask that the overseeing team above the Moderators find some way to reprimand or course-correct those who abuse their position. I know this was a long read, but thank you for reading and I hope that something positive for everyone comes from this.

Are we sure these suggestions even work/are allowed, and even if they are shouldn't this be handled privately by reporting to higher up staff?

starting a coup (forgive my misuse of the word if I used it wrong) likely won't change anything and die once the outrage blows over.

Edit: Okay, I figured it out. It wasn't because of the allegations that I know him. Apparently I was playing Claim to Heroism with him (and briefly BeteleHawk0509) because random matchup via pfinder.

 

Oh, yeah, Enderclaw plays a lot of the fest minigames. I know them mainly because they're cracked and basically always win.
