Arcanist Rework (In Regards to Theming)

    Currently Arcanist feels all over the place, like it lacks focus. Sure, it has the mana bank, but then there's the burning sigil, and Pyrokinesis turning your main attack into a little fire ball, and now that it has the lighting bolts that used to be Riftwalker's, ball lightning and dragons, now, too. It feels like it lacks theme, and is being used as a sort of dump archetype for things the devs thought would be neat to add for Mage, but didn't fit either of the two archetypes. Like, what I'm getting at is that Ritualist has masks, Riftwalker's all space-y, Shadestepper uses like samurai terminology, Trickster has clones and debuffs, Lightbender wields the light, Fallen is a Corrupted warrior, Sharpshooter's all about ghosts, Boltslinger is like an archer angel, Acolyte is all about blood and blood connections, but Arcanist is sort of just, nothing like that? It feels all over the place, like it lacks something concrete holding it together, and the Mana Bank doesn't really feel like it actually holds that purpose.
    Listen, I love Arcanist to bits. It was the first mage archetype I played, it's great, it's fun, I love it, I just wish it were more consistent in its theming. It doesn't quite sell that feeling of "Uncontrollable and chaotic magical power" with it being able to like, summon elemental dragons, and a slow-moving ball lightning.
    In fact when I first saw the names for the mage ultimates I had thought that Gravitational Collapse was going to be Arcanist's and Riftwalker's would have been Tangled Origin (because, like, origin, referring to time travel?), but that's just me rambling, sorry about that.

    This isn't really all that relevant and is sort of just an extra thought, but one thing I was thinking a bit ago was to lean more on sigils? Right now there are two sigils for Mage, Arcanist's Burning Sigil, and Lightbender's Freezing one. What about a poison one? Or a Shocking one that deals thunder damage? I feel like there might be something there but I don't know what yet. Or this might just be my desire to translate more ancient wynnic in ability vfx designs.

    (Also, a side-note from me, I have a feeling that I simply have missed Arcanist's intended theming and sound like an idiot, but I probably already do anyways. Genuinely sorry about that, if I have.)
