I am looking to make myself an upper scream fallen burst build using Hero. But I am having concerns around the survivability of the build.

How safe do you have to play using Bak’al’s Grasp and being in corrupted mode? Also if using blood pact to use health after mana runs out. Would it be recommended to leave corrupted before your health gets too low to avoid getting one shot? Or should I just get as much damage in as possible?

I have a couple health regen Tomes so I know that should help, but it’s there anything else I could do to increase my survivability?

    Any help is much appreciated!

yup. thanks to intoxicating blood, the more enemies you hit, the more hp you restore when you, at your own discretion, get out of corrupted

Play as safe as you need to. For my hero build, I personally like to stop at somewhere between 10 and 20% health, depending on the situation and how likely I am to get oneshot (I use rage for some extra damage, so being lower is beneficial, you might find it better to stay a little higher). However, I regularly find that stopping before then is useful, especially if fighting something with a charge spell or really strong ranged attacks, because relying on agility is a great way to get yourself killed.

It's also worth noting that blood pact does extra damage, so trying to get as many of those spells off as possible is generally good, so long as you have a way to get back up to full when you leave corrupted.

Honestly, it's a high-risk, high-reward sort of build and it takes practice to get used to optimizing your timing to get as much damage as possible while also not dying because you rolled the agility dice too many times.
