    Wynncraft Class Suggestion: ️ The Initiator ️

    Hello fellow Wynncraftians! Yes, I'm back to share my little ideas with you. The last few seem to have been added more or less, so I hope you'll like this big chunk just as much. Like you, I watched the Fruma trailer and was blown away by what was coming, nevertheless I was sad to see that there was still no new class.

    Since we already have two roles that are more support-oriented (Mage and Shaman) and two that are more DPS-oriented (Archer and Assassin), we only have the poor little Warrior left to fill the tank role. That's why I invite you today to discover the initiator, a brand new class, designed to include the recent skill trees as well as the upcoming ultimate abilities. Let's dive into it!

    The Initiator is a melee tank that uses a Mace as a weapon and features a unique gimmick: "The Shield." This is an additional item slot, found like a weapon, but instead of having Attack Damage as a primary stat, the Shield provides bonus Resistance (Raw or Elemental).

    The Initiator is a tank with high resistance, massive survivability, and significant crowd control, all at the cost of lower damage output. This makes the class highly team-oriented and unique. For solo play, its high survivability allows it to take on great challenges, though the playstyle is focused on endurance and strategic combat.

    Spells

    Spell 1 ️: Shield Stun [R-L-R] :
    Delivers a powerful shield strike that paralyzes the enemy for 2s and deals 120% Attack Damage.

    Spell 2 : Bullrun [R-R-R] :
    A powerful horizontal charge dealing knockback damage and paralyzing enemies at the end of the path for 0.5s. Direct impact deals 50% damage (40% Neutral, 10% Fire).

    Spell 3 : Ground Wave [R-L-L] :
    Perform a devastating ground strike, creating a wave of earth that widens over distance, knocking back and carrying enemies. Deals 200% damage (150% Neutral, 50% Earth) on contact, losing 10% damage per block traveled.

    Spell 4 : Spiked Armor [R-R-L] :
    Fortifies the user, reducing incoming damage by 90% for 5s but preventing the user from attacking. However, every enemy attack reflects 10% of your Max HP back at the attacker.

    Archetypes

    1 Protector :
    A champion dedicated to protecting teammates, providing defense boosts and other buffs.

    2 Titan :
    A colossus with a massive HP pool and high damage, but sacrificing blood (HP) to cast spells.

    3 Dark Warden :
    A fallen guardian using dark magic to imprison enemies and enslave them for macabre ends.

    1. Archetype : Protector


    Mark of the Protector :
    Hitting an enemy with a melee attack applies 1 mark. At 5 marks, the enemy is rooted for 0.5s and takes 10% increased damage for 2s.

    Celestial Shield :
    The player stores "Shield Points" by dealing or taking damage (10% of damage is redirected to the pool, up to 60% of Max HP). When the player drops to 10% HP, the shield activates, granting invulnerability until the shield is destroyed. After 5s, the shield decays.

    Savior’s Leap (Replaces Bullrun) :
    The player leaps into the air, hovering for up to 5s before slamming down. This creates a seismic shock that launches enemies for 2.5s and deals 75% damage (50% Neutral, 25% Earth). Allies in the impact zone gain +25% Resistance for 10s.

    Defensive Strike (Replaces Ground Wave) :
    Creates a divine discharge in a 5-block radius, knocking enemies back, dealing 100% damage (60% Neutral, 40% Thunder), and paralyzing them for 2s.

    One for All, All for One :
    Protector Marks now stack with ally melee attacks (if the Protector has hit the target first). Root duration increases to 1s and bonus damage to 15%.

    Protector's Dogma :
    You store Shield Points 150% faster. Activating Defensive Strike now also triggers Celestial Shield on yourself and nearby allies.

    Divine Shield (Ultimate Ability) :
    Summons a massive rectangular protective field (16x8 blocks). Projectiles passing through from the front deal 75% less damage, while allies behind it can attack freely. Monsters passing through are slowed by 60% and lose 35% Elemental Resistance. Duration: 15s.

    2. Archetype : Titan


    Butcher’s Hook (Replaces Shield Stun) :
    Throws a hook (10-block range) dealing 160% damage to the first enemy hit and pulling them to your feet.

    Cruel Pact :
    Spells cost HP instead of Mana. Costs scale the same way as Mana inflation. You cannot die from casting (minimum 1 HP). You naturally regenerate 0.2% Max HP per second.

    Overgrowth :
    All Skill Points (STR, DEX, etc.) are converted into HP. You lose the original effects of the points but gain 200 HP per Skill Point.

    Pied Piper :
    Spiked Armor is buffed (damage increases to 15% Max HP). The player plays a flute, taunting and drawing all enemies within a 25-block radius toward them.

    Titanic Strength :
    Gain bonus Attack Damage equivalent to 5% of your Max HP.

    Goliath (Ultimate Ability) :
    You grow in size by 0.5% for every 100 HP you have. Your movement and attacks create shockwaves dealing 140% damage (100% Neutral, 40% Earth). After 20s, you return to normal size.

    3. Archetype: Dark Warden

    Magic Fission (Passive) :
    Each melee attack reduces the enemy's Elemental Resistance by 1% (stackable) until the enemy dies. Attacking a new target resets the stacks on the previous one.

    Soul Devourer (Passive) :
    Each kill grants 1 Soul. Consuming a soul grants bonus stats (+20 Max HP, +1 Resistance, +1 Strength). This scales infinitely but declines after 10s of inactivity (losing 1 soul every 0.5s). The timer resets upon consuming a new soul.

    Siphoner (Replaces Spiked Armor) :
    A dark magic aura surrounds the player (8-block radius), slowing enemies by 75% and dealing 15% damage + 0.2% of their Max HP per second (75% Neutral, 25% Air) for 10s.

    Fetters of Damnation (Replaces Ground Wave) :
    The player links to all nearby enemies (4-block radius). For each enemy affected, the player heals 5% of their missing HP over 5s. If the link isn't broken after 3s (by moving out of range), enemies are rooted for 3s.

    Soul Master :
    All Soul Devourer bonuses are increased by 500%, and soul decay increases to 5 souls per second.

    Infernal Prison (Upgrade to Siphoner) :
    Every soul devoured during the spell increases its radius by 5% and resets the cooldown, but reduces the player's movement speed by 1% (up to -95%). Deals +10% Fire damage once 10+ souls are siphoned.

    Dark Guard (Ultimate Ability) : The player consumes all collected souls to summon three ghostly guards. The guards inherit 100% of the stats from the sacrificed souls and automatically draw enemy aggro. They deal melee damage based on the Strength received and only disappear when their HP reaches zero.

    Maybe in the future, don’t use AI to translate. Maybe just post it in French and let us translate ourselves? It may be worse for translation but Google Translate at least doesn’t change the formatting and layout.

    hard disagree, if you wanna pitch an idea to an audience, you gotta conform to the main audience's language. + im fairly sure a french post would be even more sus on the surface.

    ngl this just sounds like warrior

    i like the concept of another tank class but this feels too similar to the already preexisting warrior

    Thanks for your reply, finnaly someone not talking about AI (I updated the Layering and formating nontheless since it was so "problematic")

    As for the Warrior part I understand that some spells could be similar but in my opininion its different enough to not fill the same playstyle

    i think you missed my point, im not saying that some of what you're suggesting is similar, i'm saying it's already a thing, as a part of warrior.

    bash
    charge
    paladin
    fallen (there are no hp-raising abilities, so far)
    holy power, second chance(paladin)
    still sounds just like bash but a little different
    blood pact (fallen), also you already naturally have base (iirc) 3hpr



    i'm not saying this whole thread is dead bc of that, im just pointing out that you're trying to pitch what mostly already exists. yes it's probably difficult to come up with something totally original, no doubt, but thats exactly why classes aren't added all willy nilly. shaman, the latest class to have been added, is completely different from all the other classes in every way, shape and form. i'll concede that warrior and assassin have similar movement abilities (charge and dash) but then again thats kind of the only thing i can actually think of.

    again, im actually in favor of having another tanky class. but wynn has simply been min-maxed so hard that regardless of balance, the meta will always revert back to high dps even if it requires high skill.

    don't get me wrong, the "meta" is just a suggestion and i personally find that non-meta builds have a tendency to be more fun; any class can build for tank (ok, maybe minus assassin, blame the selfish archetypes). but people simply don't because then they wouldn't be contributing as much damage as the next guy.

    big mac is kind of the beloved in-between that balances tank attributes (high ehp, heavenly trumpet, provoke), with damage (spellspam enabled by blood pact).

    The CT doesn't accept class suggestions so this should be in Your Work. Also I'm opposed to generative AI on principle and don't trust its translation capabilities - fundamentally, unfixably, at their technological core, chatbots like ChatGPT are unreliable. They will always produce different results, because they just roll dice to pick which word they think is next. They're also prone to making stuff up, because they're algorithms that guess the most probable word, so this post might very well be inaccurate to whatever you wrote in French. Even Google Translate is probably better, although I'm not sure if they regeared it to work on Gemini or not.
