    i personally really like the concept of summoner, and it is a good archetype until you get in endgame or when all the other subclasses get their final, overpowered, red note. Summoner doesnt have this. His last red note are the humming birds. these humming birds are only useful for the extra jump height and walk speed (yea i know they can also attack but nobody uses them like that, only on the combat dummy :D). Dont try to make shaman better at traversal, it is just the worst class for it and it will always be (frog dance exists but we dont care), only the players who have mastered shaman and the timing of totem and haul can fly with shaman (including me), but if you make one small mistake you go left and right like crazy and you will bonk into a wall, and fall to the ground,
    but im getting out of context. My plan was to change the hummingbirds to another kind of summon, that pops out of your totem like puppets or effigies. It could have something to do with walk speed if u like, but i suggest elementals: these 5 elementals will pop up from your totem in the order (from highest to lowest) of what elemental DEFENCES you have. these elementals are all practically the same, but for their own element. they will shoot 2 homing beams, one at you and one at the focused enemy. where they hit you, they give you a damage buff of that element of ~20%, but if they hit a enemy they will deal ~50% elemental (not all, just his own element) damage per ~0.5 seconds. these elementals will stay about ¿15 seconds? until they disappear and have a cooldown of ¿5 seconds? before they pop out of your totem again. The better humming birds note will just be better elementals, which changes the damage bonus: 20% -> 25% and the damage tick to 0.4 seconds or something. This was my super short idea (trust) and i hope u guys like it!

    Except people do use it for more than just DPS testing, and if you're deliberately not using the ability for its intended purpose, then it's blatantly obvious why you'd think to post something like this; you don't see the purpose in an ability you aren't actually using. There isn't a super high barrier of entry for using them for more than just their passive effect, either.

    Just because a class doesn't have the same movement capabilities of another doesn't mean it shouldn't have access to movement period. This is a really weird thing to try to push.
