Enchanted tools

Gathering resources is not only extremely tedious, but the enemies that interrupt the process can also feel quite annoying.
How about adding an enchanting system?

This system could be implemented through a new Enchanter or Enchantress NPC placed in Cinfras.
They would allow players to enchant their gathering tools, enabling them to use spells while gathering.

To maintain game balance, the DPS of these enchanted gathering tools would be set equal to that of normal weapons of the same level as the tool’s requirement.
This way, the system wouldn’t affect combat balance, while reducing the frustration of being attacked by enemies during gathering.

There exist quite a few locations where you can grind profs with little to no mobs, and almost every resource has an at least decent area with not many mobs. If you need help finding these places, Olinus10 has a great set of youtubes video for each (gathering) profession, showing where the best spot to grind are for every level range (based on number of nodes and amount of mobs). If you want something more satirical, https://www.youtube.com/@shots987 has a few (older and a little outdated) videos showing where to grind things (the names are all like causing global warming in Wynncraft, or something to that effect). At any rate, when interacting with a node, mobs lose aggro on you. Or you could keep a weapon on you.

 

... or you could use the already in game gathering locations like Maex Mine and such

 

I don't like this. Profs does not need enchantments, it needs reduced XP requirements/increased XP gain.
