Game Mechanics A way to transfer items OFF of ironman

I have rolled many good items on ironman and found multiple mythics that I cant even use. For example I currently have a spare Discoverer, Olympic, Apocalypse, Sunstar and many nice green overall items taking up slots in my pouch; I dont want to scrap them, but also I cant use them at all for my mage. It feels like youre being punished for doing well and playing the game on ironman instead of a regular class. By transfering items off of ironman, the challenge of the gamemode doesnt loose its integrity and playing ironman will be way more enjoyable because you can actually be happy about finding and rolling nice things again! Im not 100% sure how youd implement this but it would maybe be some deposit box youd maybe have to pay a fee to put your items into on ironman and then you can take them out on a regular class.

(Yes I know you can deironman but that defeats the whole point of the challenge and is just a giant waste of time)

 

Why are you playing a challenge run if you are going to complain about being punished by mechanics? Transferring items off used to exist but was later removed. If you want to have items shared between characters, softcore exists for a reason.

 

So i should just scrap the mythics? Not happening :/

Like is the idea that you play ironman, get so stacked on items you cant scrap cause itd be really stupid to scrap them, then deironman and start a new ironman?

 

Its not just items btw, you get le on ironman and you dont really have a use for it; I for example have 9stx in my pouch as well rn. Should I also just throw the money into lava because its my fault for playing ironman?

 

the challenge is for that class, this is punishing the other classes too.

Why not have it that when you reach level 105/106 on ironman, you gain access to deposit all the items you have gathered so far?

 

If you just play ironman, there will come a point where your inventory is full of liquid emeralds. Again, what do you do then? Burn emeralds for fun? Deironman, ruining your whole profile and starting a new one? The challenge is being self reliant, you can give but not receive. (This is how it works with buffs too so why not gear?)

 

Can't you just... quit the Ironman run? I'm pretty sure that's a mechanic. Drop the run and you get access to your bank and can deposit the items.

I am not sure this would be good because it would flood the economy with mythics when implemented. Maybe a staggered release?

 

I mean not really an issue theres not that many ironman players who also have a lot of mythics

i didn't dislike the suggestion (disliking isn't even a thing on forums), and I feel neutral about. I'm just... instinctually skeptical of this idea for no apparent reason. Idk it feels unironmany to me but that's just me.

That is not false info, I know for a fact you could 4 years ago.

 

You could but it was a bug that pets were able to deposit to bank as an ironman (This required champion rank for pet tasks feature)
