Game Mechanics Unique Signals for Mob Spells

    Right now, when (most) enemies cast spells, you just see a white circle around them, which isn't very helpful to the player unless they already know what kinds of spells the mob has

    I suggest giving enemies unique effects when they cast spells! Ideally visually different enough so that you can tell from pretty far

    It's probably going to happen sometime soon, but I support different telegraphs for the generic spells. Can't really imagine why anyone would be opposed to this.

    I assume that as more enemies get updated to the 2.1 standard this will be less of an issue, but it's really annoying to not know if the mob is about to teleport around or melt my face off with a totally balanced mob arrow storm until it's already happened.

    The old spells are being phased out entirely anyways. If you proposed this a year ago, I would've agreed, but nowadays I'd say it's unnecessary given those old spells really aren't going to be around too much longer.

    Yeah. No mobs going forward will use them.
    It's just a matter of time before all existing ones are updated. Once Fruma is out, they'll gradually get updated

    so whats that mean for existing spells? i.e. flamethrower, webs, charge, etc.? are they getting totally overhauled? or just new animations instead of white sparkles?

    theyre getting removed. like we're not going to add them to any more mobs and the mobs that currently have them will be gradually updated over time to not use them

    removed entirely? so any mobs that currently have any of the old spells will be revamped entirely to have a new animation? sheesh maybe a stretch but is there a number on how many mobs need to be reworked?

    There should be a short term rework to apply to all current mobs of those spells unless they are all reworked for the next update, because it could take a year or more depending on what mobs you have left

    Removing flamethrower and push spell will be the best update Wynncraft has ever had.

    nah the best update would be dropping maro peaks upside down on top of COTL to fill it in
