World Shattered roosts world event is remarkably frustrating

During the Sky Islands world event, "Shattered Roosts" it is annoyingly common for enemies to randomly stop flying and drop to the ground, out of bounds for the player. If the player cannot reach the enemy, then they must either wait for the event to time out or /kill. A fix for the mob's AI would be greatly appreciated. This issue drags on the world event for far too long and is simply unfun.

 

It's annoying, however, if you fall down, it pushes you back up at the cost of some hp. by doing this you can get low enough to get hits in on the birds. (still very annoying) Yeah this world event needs changes.
