I would love for the Temple of Time to have much more content due to its unique role in the world of Wynncraft (and its infamy for being used only in one quest). I feel like a lot could be added here, such as easter eggs or lore explorations. Though I'm not the first to complain about the Temple of Time's lack of uses, I would like to suggest some potential additions:
    - Ability to travel back to Ragni in 885 AP, right before Bob makes his debut and the city is under threat of invasion by the forces of Bakal. This could be, in essence, a giant mob grinding area where high level players help in defending Ragni from buffed undead hordes
    - Ability to travel to older versions of Wynncraft cities such as Ragni or Detlas as a sort of easter egg about the server's progression
    - Utilizing the Temple of Time in a potential Timelost Sanctum quest, considering a lot ties these two places together it would be cool to use it to see Garoth in the past like we see with Theorick

It doesn't serve a unique role. It allows you to view memories, which is something you're already consistently able to do. Think of Hollow Serenity and other quests of that like, or a great deal of Secret Discoveries.
The Temple of Time would be better off getting an entire rebrand.

Why do we need another grind spot? And why have it be so out of the way?
Beyond that, it feels a bit strange. The attack wasn't endless and the undead weren't particularly strong.

Not all of the old builds are saved, and it'd be a fair bit of work to add non-canon novelty.

I honestly don’t know why we need magic to see a memory only ONCE also we absolutely affect the past so it breaks it’s only rule (we repair the bridge)

i'm not the expert here but it seems more like going back in time than just viewing memories to me since we could run around and affect things, not just look around

And TBH that's not really a good thing. Having time travel where you can alter the course of history in a story demands that your story holds it as a centerpiece. You can't just leave such a powerful thing ... there. If you can just go back in time and like ... kill baby Bak'al or tell Elder Prometheus not to larp as a lumberjack or kill the parasite during the equinox ... then it's always the illogical choice to do anything but that. If you can stop a problem before it begins, then almost all problems are resolved by going back in time and fixing the fuckup

The four horsemen of “Why do we only use this once?” in Wynncraft
1:temple of time in basically any War of the Realms quest or any other historical thing
2:Santa food magic in any Decay problem or Underice
3: tattytale flower in any detective quest or mystery (seriously, why wouldn’t lexdale use these for their witch trials? At least the Llevigar government should be using them for orc negotiations, they are RIGHT NEXT DOOR!)
4:the ability to drink a level 25 potion from a tribesman in a hole, jump into a lava pit, and just beat a piece of the corruption to death, cleansing it.
Honorable mentions include Rat Poison (get an airship and spray the Roots of Corruption to kill everything), Santa’s time travel (was removed), and Death being meaningless (not canon).

You don't cleanse the corruption, you stop it from spreading there

I agree that you shouldn’t be able to affect the past by time traveling, though I’m not sure how you could rebrand the Door of Time to make it more unique. The only thing I can think of is having the Door of Time allow the player to visit other timelines or other realities where events played out differently. That way the CT could play around with What If scenarios without affecting the original timeline.

Still not unique. The forgery and ??? can already do that. Even if you argue that ??? Is olm adjacent so it’s the same magic, why would the forgery be able to?

The forgery is just reskinned lower level dungeons. It’s not really canon in the same way quests are. I have no idea how ??? relates to this or time travel.

And we run into a paradox here -- If you go back in time and change something that would affect the reason you went back in time at all, unless you are causing the event you are trying to solve, you can't. Otherwise, you would never be able to time travel in the first place. (Novikov self-consistency principle)

The issue of the door of time is that no matter how you look at it, it makes no sense
    1. Breaks the one rule that governs it (Lore)
    2. Breaking that rule causes a paradox (Logic)
    3. We seem to be able to recall echoes of the past just... normally. Like every ultimate discovery ever has a cutscene. There's a memory in one of the mesa secret discoveries. (Gameplay/Lore)

(By the way, Craftmas Chaos did NOT have this issue nearly as badly. We cause the problem in the future.)

The only two ways for any of this to make any sense to me
    1. What Dr. Zed said. Alternate timelines (though then again, forgery. It's fine.)
    2. Going in back in time to steal Rickeo's flame after the battle. It's not in any histories and since it was already given to the player in the current version of events, it won't change the future at all.

Also obligatory mention of the suggestion to go back in time w/ the door of time to Maxie's wedding.

late but honestly that's fair, and i do agree, but do you think the ice barrows quest could be tweaked so it's more like you're just seeing memories rather than actually changing things? cause, as you said, it kinda creates that issue where you should be going back in time to fix the problem before it happened but we just don't... so maybe if it was changed to have minimal player influence during that part of the quest it would solve that issue. idk how feasible that is though

Aside from a new Timelost Sanctum quest, I don't really like these ideas, but what I would like is the Temple of Time allowing you the ability to replay completed quests. My idea is that there would be a new quest involving it that upon completion offers access to a new menu that allows you to replay completed quests, similar to how Recover the Past allows you to reset ability points.
