I just made an account on this site and when I clicked the link to confirm my account, I got a warning from uBlock origin to not proceed. I decided to not listen to it and proceed anyway. I then load the site and it says that the address couldn't be loaded. I was pretty sure I was hacked by that point.

I then realized that it was the actual confimation process, just looked suuper suspicious. My account was indeed confirmed as can be seen from the fact that I can post here (the email came from the right email address too).

Please improve this process, it doesn't feel good when I new users have to second guess whether they trust a random warning-giving link when signing up.

    Thanks!

It's not our fault your plugin flagged us as suspicious.

I know you don't care about making the user experience better, but here's the warning anyway, in case someone some day wants to do something about it.
The plugin I use is uBlock Origin, one of the most popular adblockers out there.

Okay, but what do you want us to do about that? Contact the creators of the plugin and ask them to not give the warning? Like, genuinely.
I'm not against improving the user experience, that's a complete strawman, but there's not really anything that can be done about a plugin we don't manage or control throwing out a warning.

So it looks like it blocked the page because its filter flagged the tracking software used to verify your email.
