Suspended Flowers Return and Rework

So I'll cut to the chase, Suspended Flowers was an old quest before 1.18 that was replaced by Deja Vu. Its NPC was Lacrona, who after 1.18 within the lore is Ope's mother and was killed by spiders. It was really just a boring fetch quest but it's also nostalgic for me hence this suggestion.

Now, I know that quest ideas usually aren't taken into consideration as suggestions but this is a special case because it already was a quest that was replaced because it was boring, so my suggestion is that Suspended Flowers gets re-added and overhauled, making use of the criminally underused Time Temple.
The idea here is that following the events of the tutorial questline (more specifically Supply and Delivery), Asher comes to visit Detlas as Ope is doing his usual Ope shenanigans (standing where Lacrona was during the original quest). The two interact and, being on bad terms, break into an argument. This leads Ope to storm off to the Time Temple to try and bring Lacrona back based on his extremely limited knowledge of Time Valley, unaware of how Time Temple actually works. Asher asks the player go with him to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid; Asher can't go himself because Ope hates him but trusts the player more. Something something, Ope has an item that lets you go into the past, you meet Lacrona and a revised version of the original quest plays out. Something something, Ope character arc, you get the idea. I'll leave that to the actual writers.

But anyways, I think this idea would do a number of good things for the game: First, it would build the characters of Asher and Ope, and even Lacrona to some extent. Second, it would be an introduction to Time Valley for new players who just finished the tutorial quests. Third, it would give more content to Time Valley and the Time Temple. And fourth, it would be a great nostalgic callback to the old humble days of Wynncraft in a way that doesn't break the lore.

But what do you guys think?

Yes but I don't see that as any different to, say, the many suggestions for reworks to the Realm of Light line both before and after 1.20 among other quests.

I don't think the OP is trying to say that the quest within the quest should be exactly like it was before.

 

The only way I see it being re-added is if it replaced Creeper Infiltration. There just isn't a level gap in the early game.

Personally I have no problem with having several quests at the same level but I also have no problem with replacing Creeper Infiltration. It's severely outdated and I genuinely don't even know if Creepers are still canonical to Wynncraft lore. Frankly, they shouldn't be because they're an original Minecraft-owned concept and Wynncraft is now a copyrighted IP being updated and modernized as its own original video game experience, which as I understand it technically (if unintentionally) makes the presence of Creepers a form of direct plagiarism.

THey are technically right. Creepers are copyrighted. It's not as if it is ILLEGAL plagiarism, as you are using it inside minecraft, but Wynn aims to be a seperate game, and Creepers are NOT generic fantasy IP like orcs, trolls, zombies, etc

 

Basically this, Creepers are a minecraft creation. I'm not saying Wynncraft is illegal or anything like that, I'm just saying that they should remove Creepers because they're a Minecraft property and I personally would like to see Wynncraft endorsing itself as its own experience without the "Minecraft MMO" moniker.
I have a very similar opinion of Villagers, which I think should be either visually redesigned as a species and/or at least renamed because they're quite literally just Minecraft Villagers, just without the same lore. This of course is leftover from when Wynncraft was just "Minecraft but with MMO mechanics" but most of everything else within that category has been reworked so my personal choice for a rename would be Gavellians or Gavelfolk, a name that I think would fit into the game for several reasons.

 

The entire game is based on minecraft there wont be any legal issues... But yea creepers probably shouldnt be in wynn

I didn't want to be the one to say it, but yes.
I mean obviously those stereotypes are completely on accident given that they're literally just more greedy minecraft villagers, but yeah
