There are 2 main downsides to the current guild war system.

    1. It’s boring. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, but after fighting over the same tower for six months, it really feels repetitive and pointless. There's just no excitement left.
    2. It creates a lot of toxicity. I’ve seen it too many times, guild wars have become a major source of drama and it's really unhealthy to the community.

Here’s what I think could improve things:

Introduce a new type of guild-only content that’s actually challenging, like an event or boss.
Completing this content would earn your guild rewards like season rating, guild experience, aspects, tomes, or emeralds.
The season rating could scale based on the difficulty completed or the speed of completion. Instead of fighting each other directly, guilds would compete by achieving the best run possible. Personally, I’d recommend a difficulty-based competition, since that sounds way more interesting to me.

I know this sounds somewhat similar to guild raids, but I believe hard-mode raids shouldn’t be guild-exclusive. I have friends in different guilds, and sometimes I just want to enjoy exciting content with them. But because we’re not in the same guild, we can’t do that. And honestly, that’s pretty frustrating.

In addition to the other problems, the real problem with how guilds are implemented is in that there's only a limited amount of space for guilds to compete over which means it's a case of the rich getting richer while nobody else can even begin to compete against them. And even if you could compete with them, you should absolutely not have to just to get benefits from your guild, but sadly that is basically the only benefit you have from being in a guild besides a weekly chest and guild bank.
Making guilds an almost exclusively PvP-based system in a game that is almost exclusively PvE is literally one of the worst things they've ever done in Wynncraft and frankly what pisses me off even more than everything else about it is how many "guild reworks" we've actually gotten and not a single one of them has ever even begun to address this issue.

I love Warframe's version of guilds (clans) and how your entire guild can contribute easily to unlock more content in a purely PvE setting and I think that's what the CT should take direct inspiration from for an actual good guild system.
