I'm a huge fan of gambling in Runescape well I sort of am. I have played many many many hours gambling on there made rediculous amounts of money and lost it all the same. I suggested this in another game but from my gambling experince loosing everything winning a ton of money back loosing it again and repeating that process multiple times. I honestly didn't mind it so much I guess if its fair and not player run it could be fine but idk I've not experience that yet. Anyhow I know gambling can make a player want to quit if they lose everything and its easy to fall into that cycle as everyone doesn't have the best self control but yeah good luck with your post those are my thoughts.

New idea: more minigames that use a standard deck of cards; no gambling, just the most quintessential PvP experience possible, all in menus.

Maybe a win-loss ratio for each, if it really is necessary to feel like you're winning or losing something other than the game itself. All of this accessible within what would have originally been the gambling NPC of course.
