Add Suggestion Channel to Wynncraft Discord

Title, please add a suggestion channel to wynncraft discord

 

I think a lot of people would be upset that their suggestions wouldn't be added.
I'm not in the wynncraft discord so I don't have any personal stake in it, but I imagine it wouldn't be fun for the CT who are there to go "yeah we aren't doing this / can't do this" to a lot of suggestions. It'd not only open the venue for a lot of low effort posts, but people being harassed because they made those low effort posts (after all, the discord has people as young as thirteen in it)

It can already be a bit troublesome to inform someone that a suggestion wouldn't work here in the forums, so I can't imagine doing it in the discord, where people are a lot less tame and there's a vocal minority that has a great deal of vitriol towards staff would end well.

 

People already suggest stuff there and then the obligatory "suggestions go on the forums" post appears, but noone cares

 

Instead of it being a channel, make it a Discord forum, and people can only create threads and their initial posts. Those posts need to have a forum thread of the same suggestion linked in their Discord message, that message also either mirroring their initial post or it being just the link to their thread.
