    Why am I suggesting craftable tomes?
    Because I feel like it is missing from the game. The tome list is empty for craftsman classes, and I belive that giving craftsman more power so that they can compare to non craftsman in stats is a good idea.

    What are craftable tomes?
    Craftable tomes are crafted "consumable but equippable" items. They act as tomes, in which they can only be equipped in the tome screen.
    They are crafted with scribing materials, which means it will have a duration. I will show the numbers later.

    So these are the craftable tome rules:
    You cannot equip more than 5 tomes. you have to equip tomes instead of your usual tomes, 1 tome per type (if you have a tome equipped in the armour mastery, you cannot equip defensive mastery tomes, same as weapon, marathon, expertise and )
    You will only be able to have the highest ID from all tomes (as long as 1 crafted tome exists with that ID, it will pick between that tome or *all* the non crafted tomes). For example, if tome A has 7% water damage and tome B has 14%, you will only get +14%.
    To the previous rule, if you have negative IDs (are rare), the strongest negative (-24% would go over -18%) will be the one, then it applies separately to positive IDs
    ALL CRAFTED TOMES ARE AT 25% ID EFFICIENCY. Basically take any scroll, and divide all of its ids by 4. This must be done to keep it fair, as scribing ingredients were designed for consumable use, and these tomes will be able to be used with
    Tomes are crafted with 2 paper 1 oil. They follow the same durability rule as rings vs bracelets, except its duration now. When you craft a tome its duration is equal to duration x charges. Trying to craft a tome with no ingredients will give crafted potion thing the same as a scroll.
    The duration of the tome is how long the tome lasts until it runs out (yes, runs out, you can't repair). It is calculated as duration x charges x 2.
    The duration of the tome only ticks down if you are combat logged (you have dealt damage/took damage in the last 10 seconds). You will get a chat message when the tome is 10% from running out and when it has ran out.
    SP from tomes doesn't count as sp used for the requirements of tomes

    For example, a 6x fiery aura tome [CR-13l3l3l3l3l3l9o11](https://wynnbuilder.github.io/crafter/#13l3l3l3l3l3l9o11) crafted into a tome will be:
    lvl 103-105 ; 2880-2910 seconds (48-48.5 minutes) ; 6-9 Defense ; 675-825 Health bonus

    If you compare this to 4 fabled tomes in terms of hp: 265 base Health Bonus x 4 = 1060 Health Bonus base

    Do know that the rule that tomes always use the highest id value also applies with normal tomes, So if you have CR-13l3l3l3l3l3l9o11 equipped in your expertise slot, and have 4 fabled tomes, the crafted tome's Health Bonus will not apply (but the Defense ID will apply)
    As an extra note, SP from tomes of allegiance will not follow this rule, and are separate (so if for example you have 2 crafted tomes with 6 and 8 Intelligence each, and you have a 4 intelligence (called mastermind btw) guild tome, you will get 4 gear SP and 8 non gear SP)

    What limits can you reach? You can take the "meta scrolls" and divide their ids by 4 to see if they are worth using.
    Here are some tomes I could get (all using t2 dernic):
    [CR-18p8p9595CbCb9o51](https://wynnbuilder.github.io/crafter/#18p8p9595CbCb9o51): lvl 103 - 105 ; -5% - -4% Heal efficiency ; +19% - +22% water damage ; 4300 - 4350 seconds duration (71 - 72 minutes)
    Compared to 2 abyssal tomes, it would still deal less damage than perfect/almost perfect abyssal tomes (abyssal tomes max rolls give 8% wd 5%dmg, which would be 26% total)
    [CR-16l6l6l6l6l6l9o51](https://wynnbuilder.github.io/crafter/#16l6l6l6l6l6l9o51): lvl 103 - 105 ; +840 - +1020 Health Bonus ; +78 - +99 Health regen raw ; 1080 - 1110 seconds duration (18 - 18.5 minutes)
    Compared to everlasting (HPR) tomes, its very low. Base everlasting tomes have 300 health bonus and 45 health regen. 4 of these (not at max rolls) would be better than the craftable tome.

    If you are interested in a poison build you could use this as a "poison tome"

    The tomes aren't crazy strong, they can't be stacked, and are there to replace the space left from playing craftsman. Do share any feedback

    I'm not entirely opposed to the idea. But some FYI, Craftsman Characters can already use Regular Tomes.. upload_2025-3-6_21-25-0.png

    I do think it would be a very neat addition to Craftsman classes, but it would require a decent bit of rebalancing and thinking ! And you should probably be able to equip them in all slots.
