Anyone who says they weren’t amazed by Wynncraft the first time they played… is lying! Whether in 2014 or 2024, this server has broken unimaginable barriers, delivering a unique, 100% original experience with an incredibly united and supportive community. Knowing this, many of us have supported the project by purchasing ranks, from VIP to Champion.

The issue isn’t the content—quite the opposite! The quests are absolutely amazing. Being able to beat up Lari and watch Aledar meet his fate is an indescribable pleasure. But here’s the problem: repeating the same quests across multiple classes becomes exhausting. As someone who invests time and money in the game, I sometimes feel that my time isn’t as valued as it could be. Professions already consume an absurd amount of time… and on top of that, I have to redo every quest multiple times?

So, my suggestion is simple: a button to skip all quests (Storyline and secondary), excluding Mini-Quests, Dungeons, Lootruns, Raids, etc. To keep it balanced, there could be requirements such as:
    • Having completed all quests at least five times (once per class).
    • As a penalty, receiving no experience, emeralds, or items from skipped quests—only unlocking Fast Travels and Regions.
This change wouldn’t just make the experience smoother for veterans, but it would also acknowledge the time players have invested. The community already does a lot for Wynncraft—BlueBuilds, Wynntils, Nori BOT are great examples of how we’re always contributing. Of course, this could impact the Total Content and Global Total Content leaderboards, but maybe that’s a secondary discussion compared to the overall benefit. Text corrected and translated by GPT

Except... You don't. You are not required to do every quest on a repeat playthrough (And you aren't required to even touch professions unless you get it as a daily on all characters, or as a guild object). You aren't even required to do every quest on your first playthrough. You are allowed to level up through different means if you do not want to do quests again. Most quests just reward money or sometimes items-- and you can just transfer those items to the new character if you don't want to get them again for a build.

FIVE? I'm not in favor of adding a quest skip functionality in basically any form, but needing to complete that quest five separate times to skip it seems incredibly unnecessary. Some ridiculously low amount of players - probably not even a single percent of the server - would be using this mechanic.

As if we do not consistently acknowledge our endgame players by focusing so much of updates on them, despite how small or a percentage they are of our playerbase. As if we don't have official leaderboards to show the most dedicated people of our community. I really do not like the sentiment behind either of these statements because it feels like it implies we don't care, when it could be anything but.

    I could certainly tell.

I'm very much against this. Quest skipping either gives you a bunch of artificial completion or locks you out of ever getting 100%, blocks you from getting those items again, given quest resets almost certainly aren't going to get implemented without changing the quest system. With basically all your quests gone, all there is to do is ... grind for XP and do endgame content & professions. It feels like it takes perhaps the most important part of the server, and the stuff we spend the most time and care making, and throws it out.
For all this talk of "not valuing time," it does not really feel like you value ours.
But that's just my two bits.
