Horses are not the best movement method, so I don’t see why they should be restricted during lootruns.

I‘m pretty sure they were disabled because of an exploit where you could move during the countdown at the beginning of a lootrun by getting on a horse. Of course, the advantage this provides can be discussed (pretty much all you can do is probably get out of the camp since you cannot see the challenges yet), but I don‘t think there is a way to prevent someone from using it unless you literally put them in a barrier box as they probably would have implemented it by now. Otherwise I totally agree that horses should be usable if this issue can be fixed in order to increase build diversity and potentially add more unique challenges (maybe a parkour section which requires you to either have jump height or have a horse).

I agree with this specifically because the lack of horses means that some classes are just objectively better than others at lootrunning in ways far beyond just combat ability.

The count down is arguably the worst part of the lootrun anyways

Part of me doesn't want to believe that this was the reason because WHY IS THIS THE REASON

As you said, beacons don't even appear until the countdown is over

Hell, why is there even a NEED for the countdown? Aesthetic??? The player won't even have anywhere to go until they actually see what locations have beacons appear at them they are effectively as good as stuck

Okay I can like partially understand that one but seriously, a horse would be pretty cool for builds that don't really focus that much of sustained long-distance mobility

But still a few seconds of being able to use the horse with not even a definite destination is not worth outright removing it for the entire lootrun

(Hence I don't believe that this is the actual reason lol, but feel free to correct me)
