World Arachnophobia Friendly mode

A lot of people, such as myself struggle from severe arachnophobia, to the point where seeing one that is slightly more detailed than the base Minecraft one can scare the crap out of us. My suggestion is a toggle to disable custom spider models, and change them to either the default model or something else, such as a big box(i know it doesn't fit in with the world, but these things are a serious deterrent for me and probably others)

Areas like arachnid woods and the infested pit scare the crap out of me, and they are places that unfortunately are passed through often. Further, even Detlas is not safe, as the moment i step out i am able to be jumpscared by a hideous spider monster in the form of the infested pit key guardian.
I've also been told that there are later areas such as a desert that are filled with custom model spiders, and that seems to be a massive, likely significant area which would be effectively a horror game for me.


Please add this mode, as I love Wynncraft, but there are so many areas which I just cant handle being near due to these models terrifying me.

the way it used to be was only very important mobs had custom models, so you could just get a vanilla texture pack to change the base spider mob, but now every spider is custom so you just have to wait for someone to make a texture pack (I don't know if its possible to retexture the custom models but you should be able to) or just avoid it

 

Every update the texture pack would need to be remade.

I used to be more against an arachnophobia mode because I didn't see how it would really work, and it feels like a feature that would require a lot of effort that would apply to a very small number of players, but I can kind of envision how it /could/ work.
If the models just aren't rendered client side, and are replaced with something else that's equal in scale to the spider it's taking the place of, I could see it functioning

 

The base mob is not the issue, the issue is the custom ones. If it replaced the custom ones with base ones, then a texture pack could be used to modify it further if needed.

That’s what I am saying. Prior to the 2.1 update, this already was on by default, but the 2.1 update is what added these models in the first place, which is overall a good thing but made arachnophobia a problem again. Because a texture pack for custom models would be very difficult, something like you are suggesting would be a good option
