You're allowed to share ideas (it's not like I'm deleting any of these posts), but creating items is left to the IM team, who have a better understanding of how to create and balance them. Items simply aren't added based on player suggestion— the closest thing there is is player made lore ending up on items from community contests.
If the suggestion of Corkus was made today, it simply wouldn't be considered. Back in 2015/2016, adding expansions to the map was nowhere near as time consuming as it is today, as our standard for quality has dramatically increased. We didn't have a complete idea on what Wynn was going to be nor as strict of a regulation on its story and features, so adding a new area based on a player's suggestion wasn't the impossible task that it is today.
Quality control is just higher now, and there's so much intricacies behind the scenes that stuff like an entire region could never be added based on a suggestion.

Okay that doesn’t mean you should be as equally dismissive towards item suggestions as you do with other suggestions. Especially since they are way easier to implement and much more narrow in scope relative to most other suggestions like new classes, quests, game modes, or areas. Plus almost no suggestion was ever implemented verbatim, so it’s not unreasonable to expect the IMs to tweak a suggestion, but still take inspiration from it. There are so many different niches and ways to make items nowadays, so there’s quite a lot of room for suggestions. It’s not that much different than suggesting new or reworked abilities.
