Website & Forums Application forms should give visual feedback when you submit them

Basically the title
I applied for AT a couple of days ago, but had the application page open for about a day by that point while answering the questions, and when I clicked 'Submit!', there was no confirmation that it went through. Most websites would give some sort of message like "Response submitted", but I didn't get one, so I clicked a couple of times. Asked on the discord what I should do, and was told to retry. I figured that having the page open for so long was the reason it failed, so I filled it out on a new tab. Then I thought it was the browser, then that one of my answers was too long.
I gave up for now, but I still don't know if my application was void, or if I wasted a bunch of time for people on the GM team by sending 20 apps (which I'm genuinely sorry for if that's the case).
If there is actually no automatic feedback like I'm talking about, please just add a pop up saying "Application sent", so that noone else can make a fool of themselves like I did.

An automatic one just after submitting? If so, mine didn't, do you have ideas on why that would be the case? Is there a restriction on answer length or something like that? My trickster answer was like 2 Word pages, I can do a link to a google doc with it instead if that's the case. I tried Edge and Firefox, and checked if my account name was spelled correctly. I also didn't have anything in Relevant Works/Projects since I don't have any of my MC projects fully finished, could having an empty field void the submission? Or could my forums account being relatively new be a problem?
Also, it's a big ask, but if it keeps failing, can I just DM it to you / be told who to DM it to?
I'm also worried that I might not be the only one not getting the submissions through, I assume mine is pretty normal, so others might have the same problem without even realising.
