For those players who want the extra grind. Once reaching max rank in lootrunning/raiding, you may ‘prestige’.
What does this mean? It means you reset your rank back down to 0, allowing the player to grind through the ranks again.
Why would anyone do this? Because there are great rewards for doing this and some people love a grind.
When you level up again, the xp amount required would be increased by the following:

    Prestige 1: +10%

    Prestige 2: +25%

    Prestige 3: +50%

(e.g. if it took 100xp to level up once, it’d take 110xp when you first prestige, then 125xp on prestige 2 and 150xp on prestige 3 etc.).

    Lootrunning problems:

Currently, there are few frustrations with lootrunning:

    · The start is always slow and often revolves around trying to get rainbow beacons or orange beacons to maximise your options.

    · Another issue I find is that missions are integral to a Lootrun, and your missions might be absolute garbage for the style of Lootrun that you like to play, it’s total rng.

    · Finally, in order to get a great Lootrun, you really need to have done a few in advance with some good sacrifices to maximise loot in the final Lootrun. This puts a huge reliance of getting reward sacrifices and can end a really great streak if you don’t get any.

Here are some fixes for it:

Prestige 1: Begin each Lootrun with the orange beacon effect (increased beacon option for the first 5 challenges)

Prestige 2: You may reroll mission options once (across an entire Lootrun)

Prestige 3: Every day, gain +1 reward sacrifice (on your first Lootrun – like how you get 1 free reroll)

    Raiding problems:

Similar to lootrunning, I’ve tried to tailor the prestige perks to the flaws I see in the current raiding system:

    · Trying to farm for aspects can be tedious - if you’re in a guild, you get a huge advantage over people who aren’t.

    · Raids can sometimes be spoiled by unlucky buff option rolls.

    · Trying to run raids in the hopes of getting a specific tome or aspect can be really tough. You can easily spend hours raiding and not get what you want.

    Fixes:

Prestige 1: Reroll 1 buff option room per raid

Prestige 2: Gain +2 aspects if you have all gambits active

Prestige 3: Gain 1 reroll for the rewards chest

Eeehhg... I think this would negatively impact balancing the loot you get & also feel like an abhorrently long grind.

Dont think so, when we take into consideration how much you have to grind for T3 mythics and T3 fabled aspects

They're meant to be a long term goal, and maxing a T3 mythic would not take the same amount of time as doing lootrunning or raiding levelling all over again with an XP penalty.

Maybe with no xp penalty this could work then?

It's an optional extra grind so only people who want to do it have to

not really abhorrently long for lootrunning
lootruns are much more forgiving than raids to level (citation: i was grandmaster in the first month)
you only need to complete FOUR challenges (easy) to get xp and longer runs give more xp.
raids on the other hand, are extremely difficult (citation: i have yet to unlock a second gambit slot)
you need to depend on your party entirely and you need to win the raid for the xp (it's easier to 'win' a lootrun than a raid)

i guess item balance concern, but idk
the lootrunning and raiding stuff seems like nice qol for people who enjoy/are attempting to get a specific thing

Bump, I think this would fit well in Wynncraft. Plus the issues I stated are real problems and this is a good solution imo.
