In a game like this, people pay far more attention visually rather than through text.

Perhaps raid objective instruction rooms should have animated instructions, rather than static?
They could be displayed as very short 5-10 sec cutscenes in spectator mode, which shows a dummy NPC performing raid objective in a minimalistic way.

The issue with making it a cutscene would be that it would slow the raid down for people who already know the raid.

This seems like it'd be annoying to add and annoying to experience as a player

Nah you just need to make the instructions seperate from the raid and force players to walk through them once before ever being able to start that raid. Or condense them into the buff room so its not two seperste rooms

I agree that there could be an instruction you can look at that isn't in the middle of the raid, but it would spoil the raid for people doing it for the first time if you were forced to watch it. I know some people think you should "Watch a guide before you come ruin my runs" Grow up, please. If you don't want to interact with other players who might be playing the raid for the first time, or with suboptimal gear, go do solo content like lootruns or smth.
