Buff Normal Items

    Normal weapons being just fallbacks still just doesn't seem right. It's wasted potential.

    They could be used for something. Right now they just show up in chests and that's it. They used to be good scrap fodder, but now they're not even useful for that. They're worthless in every way. Their only relevance, ever, is in the earlygame (when you have no gear), in Bob's Lost Soul, and if you somehow don't have a weapon, which seems difficult to do unintentionally and can be incredibly easily rectified unless your bank got wiped.

    You may as well remove them. They're nearly useless. At least Uniques and Rares can be sometimes useful.

    The issue is that under no circumstances should Normal items ever be the best option in a build. The whole point of their existence is inferior, cheap gear to use until you get your hands on better gear. They might deserve a small buff, maybe? But if they're buffed too much, then they'll actually become an attractive and appealing option to players.

    i think the main issue is raw damage/raw health is going to be too appealing to noobs so they wont learn about real building

    Yeah, that's fair.

    I'm not sure how you'd balance it. I'm not of the opinion that Normal items should be on-par with proper builds, but if they're reasonably strong, equal to weak items of their level, then they could be useful. Raw power, but no IDs, so noobs are taught to build by seeing how items without IDs aren't very strong.
