I don't like how the extra rewards from the Order of the Grook quest are gotten, it's basically luck if you don't know to use the wiki to figure out you can get extra stuff if you pick a specific wand or book.

    So, here's my idea:

At the end of the quest, the Headmaster will have new dialogue blabbering about some 'magic voucher' he gives you for graduating, that you can give to a new merchant on Mage Island!

This merchant will let you trade in the 'magic voucher' for one of the Rewards you would usually get from picking a wand (i.e the Draoi Fair, Dragon's Eye Bracelet, and Renda Langit). For the Books, just give the player 36 Emerald Blocks as a reward for the quest.

I like this quest, but the current reward system for it is so bad, so it would be nice if it got changed to be more player friendly!

CONTENT TEAM!!! IMPLEMENT THIS INTO THE GAME, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!

Agree. The only issue I have with this is moreso an issue with the quest itself with how little your choice of a wand and book matter in the quest aside from the ending rewards. Perhaps having a certain book could allow extra stuff in a class, or it might open up a secret for you to check out in between classes. Hell the bare minimum with the wand could just be different particle effects.

Grookwarts is the perfect quest for throwing in more choice, it's already the quest with the most variation in the game. Maybe the stairs could even move with modern tech.

I don't think replacing the wiki-based reward choice with a voucher is a good idea, though. It seems like it's a waste of potential. At the same time, the current system evidently isn't very good, so I'd suggest having the emerald rewards and accessory choice be somehow integrated into your actions during the quest - so 10 EB is your base clear reward, but if you explore and do everything you can, you can get up to 40 EB, and the choice of accessories depends on some specific stage of the quest.

I suppose I'd also suggest adding classes for each of your wand and book choices, and, maybe, a secret where you can get a Cauldron Voucher.

It's just lame. I don't really know how to describe it. It's much less interesting for it to be just 'pick one' at the end, and even the current choice mechanism is more interesting, because it's at least superficially integrated with the quest itself. A voucher wouldn't be.

Still, wand classes would make it work better.

I'd rather have a 'lame' system than one that's straight up awful.

There are so many other quests that have exactly this kind of system instead of giving you a specific reward (that you're stuck with unless you make a whole new character) based on what shade of green you picked for a random NPC to paint his roof at the beginning of the quest.

I think having a 'voucher' system in this quest as well would be fine.
