    Basically, Proffesion Runs, like lootruns. These proffers just cycle between the same 16 nodes

    Why?
    Right now the only thing about proffesions that are not just looking at node and clicking is activating hunted... which does nothing since there is no reward for hunting people(apart from gear that randomly drops, but thats another issue), so you have an activity that would have another silverbull syndicate, and would make you mine specific nodes in areas of that level.

    So, how would it work?
    While you could have your own idea about how this would work, here's my idea: By going to a proffesion camp (which would mainly be in sky islands, molten heights and silent expanse), you would start a proffesion run, wich consists of searching for a specific node of each gathering type. You can start these as long as you have at least 2 of the appropiate level gathering levels, but its easier if you have

    What happens during this "prof run"?
    You are given 3 jobs, each having 3 different options that are proffesions nodes (lets say woodcutting, fishing and mining) alongside random effects (explained below), and it wants you to gather x of either material you get (for example 14 paper, 15 gems or 16 meat), and when you get the necesarry pieces the game gives you the next job, extra time, and 2 random effects.
    The catch here is that all nodes have a 10 minute cooldown (based on the timer instead of the usual way nodes are)

    Random effects are displayed before you choose your next node, so it would look like this:
    Yellow Gems Job: Gather 15 Gems, doing so will give you a flying chest with ingredients.
    These random effects can be like beacons, except i dont want this to be lootrun but proffs. Some ideas i had are: Id buffs (for more survivability, speed and gathering), the ingredient chests (having ingredients of that level and negative effects that either buff mobs, makes you slower (gathering, speed, basically negative ids). These random effects comes in pairs, one good effect and one bad effect.

    And thats all i have for my mind. Just to make proffesions have an enjoyable side. Maybe you have better ideas about what you have to do, but this thread is basically "I want this timesink to be more enjoyable"
