    please i beg you make master hive item transmutation free again

    seriously why is this. with so many changes in 2.1 people are GOING to want to try new builds and SPOILER ALERT: hive items are good.

    please i beg you lower qira's health (and the health of PZ, Orange Wybel, LI Bosses, and other Hive Bosses)

    i get this is probably unintended but it also makes everything harder than it has a right to be.

    3. Hive Potion Merchant

    the first real suggestion (not a brainless request) of this post. I would love it if there was a way to buy potions at the hive because the number of times I've not wanted to run back to Rodoroc to get lv. 100 potions (via balloon) is very high. I don't even care if they are Dungeon-Priced (double the cost), but maybe they could also cost hive catalysts (of weak little monsters), so that you couldn't just show up & buy 'em

    4. Hotbar

    please I beg you LOWER THE GODFORSAKEN HOTBAR HEALTH TOTAL NUMBER. That or... toggle combat info messages? (ability cooldowns, YOU ARE OUT OF MANA). (toggling combat info messages is good, but a band-aid fix)

    reason: one message is enough to obscure the number in GUI 4 and i really don't want to have to play in 3.

    I'm surprised you wouldn't expect us to buff these bosses when we buffed everything else

    Idk about Qira but if anything these bosses have too LITTLE health...

    Also, I don't mind being forced to fight Qira to exchange items - they're powerful items. In fact - I would love for certain bosses to have fun repeatability including Qira and Tower of Ascension. Honestly, I think ToA is the perfect candidate for a progressively generative dungeon, if not new content.

    But first I'd like to see an inevitable Forgery rework ^-^

    I get their original point, everything was definitely buffed and needed to be buffed but in some areas it feels like too much

    Orange wybel is too beefy, damage and attacks are fine, but the fight drags out to the point of losing interest at an alarming rate, it feels more like a chore than a boss

    I think this is more an issue with the fact it has interphases where you just have to wait for it to become vulnerable again

    I get that, and look don’t get me wrong rekindled in my opinion is a top 3 update it breathed new life into wynncraft and despite some flaws like the aspect drop system it’s a mostly perfect update

    that being said boss alters are in an awful place, panic zealot, and orange wybel Imo are in an awful state, despite redoing EVERY boss from quests to dungeons and adding fun and unique bosses, the part of the game that is DEDICATED to bosses got the short end of the stick. They turned orange wybel and panic zealot into giant annoying hit and run beat sticks. It’s not optimal to fight them head on since they can easily kill you if you get close, so hit and run is the way to go, and due to their now MASSIVE HP and nothing else, these fights feel artificially difficult.

    “I could beat it, but the amount of time investment vs reward, it’s honestly barely worth it”

    it was an update they redid almost every single boss, why did boss alters not get an update?

    Because it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort. We don't just wave a magic wand to create a new mob AI and its attacks. If it was that easy, The Parasite would be in game right now. The process is not that easy and not that quick

    oh absolutely, believe me this update seemed like an absolute pain to make, I’m sorry yall had to deal with that I tried coding once and I learned that it is not ever easy. I was just kinda annoyed at the state boss alters were in, I’m sorry

    bumping this to disagree with everyone saying that qira has a right to be too hard for anyone that doesn't use meta builds and macros and have a giant guild and a giant stash of le.
    reason: the fight was already hard/balanced in 2.0. it was ridiculously easy in 1.20. (citation: my mage, using possibly the least meta build in existence (before i knew of wynn's building community) beat qira first try, probably using an Empire Builder or a Random Level 70 Wand I Crafted Using Elemental Crystals, though i know i used the latter to take down bob) now it is ridiculously hard.

    for li, i use a decently powered build, and i can't get past mummy board.

    which brings me to another one of 2.1's main issues: lack of telegraphs. All of the attention was focused in raids to be honest, and while you can avoid the extremely powerful boss attacks of those bosses, li didn't get any of that, gale STILL casts arrow storm but has increased damage stats (already the hardest non-qira boss in the hive)

    now i don't think i'm ever going to get a different master hive item or another qira hive quest completion.
    but eh
    at least the rich players with mythic builds, macros, and playing the meta get a challenge (sarcasm)

    returning to this thread yet again because buffing bosses that were already hard without fixing their telegraph issues (which is what usually makes them hard) is Not A Good Idea.

    i like the boss changes, at least. qira should be insanely hard, yeah. i just wrote a wall of text -
    - on the combat system, so i'm not gonna do it again. i agree with the need for stronger telegraphing, though. although, really, i don't agree with the need to make the boss easier for my standard petty reasons (the solo focus in endgame content is a plague, anything that forces you to bring friends is on that merit alone Good.)

    really, i think the fact that builds capable of soloing qira are common at all is a travesty. though and i'd rather prefer player and mob damage to be focused and nerfed across the board than hp values buffed. but i already wrote the wall of text about that.

    hive items requiring re-doing content is an old mmo staple. wynn should make you go out of your way to do insane stuff for cool items. my only regret is that everything can't be like hive. but CT's been making strides to spread out its high-end items (annie mythics, LI, raid chests, it's just only lootruns basically), so i'm really happy for that. plus imo games ought to be careful about removing stuff in the name of convenience. forcing players to play your game in order to get the thing you want is like the bedrock of making a decent game. reverse soul points.

    the other ones are great, though. making a potion run is busywork for busywork's sake, and GUIs aren't a well-regarded source of game challenge imexp.

    i wouldn't really have this much of an issue with the qira fight if it didn't feel required to have a hive armor for each tri-color build, if prowess wasn't the only bracelet that could satisfy 15+ skill points, or if there was a ring almost as powerful as intensity. As it stands, players who have no friends, get unlucky with random pfinder parties and their own, or just die mid-bossfight because all the minions are too strong and qira's attacks (which require moving and dodging) are made to happen all at once (plus she webs you) are going to probably never complete the quest or get any hive items whatsoever. Then, once they decide what to use their voucher for IF they make it, they'll have to re-do the INSANELY (as you said) hard bossfight and probably end up having to change their items AGAIN in the future. Qira is powerful, but a little too powerful imo (citation: my low hpr 61k ehp build was doing fine, not much damage, making some progress, then 15 attacks came out of nowhere and killed me) (this thread was partially spawned out of my frustration with my inability to get items i needed for builds)
    you bring up good points about the hive items though, I just wish that there were things that came remotely close (not too close, mind you. then there's no real point in locking 'em)
    don't know if i've won a bossfight in the endgame since 2.1
