    Opening Statement
    Salutations! About a week ago, I was struck with a vision and I started writing down a few changes and a lot of ideas for Major Identifications. Now I didn't actually read the Major ID wiki page until yesterday, when I realized the sheer amount of Major IDs Wynn has as of 2.1, so at this point, a lot of these Ideas are just for fun, but I thought I should still share them anyway. I'm rubbish at balancing and I have no clue what the design philosophy for Major IDs by the way, so many of these would likely need to see time balancing.
    Also, I've reference about 5 pieces of media in this, so if you can guess them all, you get bragging rights ;)

    Minor Things & Identifications
    Before we get into the meat of this suggestions, I have about 3 changes/minor additions I wanted to bring up.
    1. Add a Maximum Mana ID.
    2. Add a Sprint Steal ID.
    3. Allow Warriors to use +Flurry of Blows on a technical level. Right now, only double slice Assassins can use it, which severely stunts the amount of ideas that +FoB can be used for. Warriors and Assassins basically share the same main attack, so why not?

    Major Identifications
    Alright, now for the cool stuff. I've created a hypothetical Ingame description for each Major ID, a technical one, and an example Weapon/Armor Piece to show off what they can do. I didn't include the mID in the WynnCustom link because it messes with the display, so just pretend its there. Anyways, starting with...

    +Throwable
    Replace your main attack with a projectile
    (For Assassin) Basically, replaces your main attack slash with a shuriken-esqe projectile, or something like archer's homing shots without the homing and with fewer particles. Abilities like Poisoned Blade would increase the projectiles velocity, while things like Double Slice would behave like normal, but with projectiles instead of slashes. Also this plus +FoB would be incredibly silly.
    Example Weapon
    The Enchanted Throwing Dagger is a late game offhand recovery tool.

    +Fungal Infection
    Total poison damage is multiplied by 5, but the duration is also multiplied by 5.
    (For All) Basically what is says on the tin. Same DPS but it lasts significantly longer. I designed this one to work with +Grasp of the Wilderness. The Major ID applies on hit and remains active even if you switch off of its weapon.
    Example Weapon
    The Shroomer is a generic poison bow but it has an mID so its cool.

    +Grasp of the Wilderness
    Poison no longer deals damage, but poisoned enemies can no longer regain health, are 25% more susceptible to critical hits, and gradually suffer 1% Weaken and 1% Slow every second, up to 20% each.
    (For All) Susceptibility to crits is basically just an extra 25% crit chance on poisoned enemies. That and the loss of any healing felt somewhat weak so i tacked the Weaken and Slow IDs on there because I like them :3 Also designed to work with +Fungal Infection.
    Example Armor
    Ivyplate Leggings are a pair of support leggings that force you to build poison to benefit off it's Major ID.

    +Magic Parry
    Initiate a spell combo to guard. Any hit taken for a short period of time after guarding will be nullified and cause the spell casted from the combo to deal 100% more damage.
    (For Warrior & Assassin) Counter and Parry are FRAUDULENT so this is a real, skill-based parry Major ID. Definitely unbalanced off of description alone so here are some technical limitations for it.
    - Guard Duration is incredibly short and can be cut off even earlier by continuing the spell combo.
    - Fumbling a parry and getting hit puts it on a cooldown.
    - You have to finish your spell combo to parry again.
    - Switching weapons to do anything fishy puts it on a cooldown.
    - Something about Arrowstorm/Multihit
    - Anything else I missed.
    Example Weapon
    Root's Proxy is a defensive spear that gives a vague semblance of damage to hyperdefense players.

    +Sidestep
    Dash, Charge, and Teleport move you in the direction you are moving rather than the direction you are facing.
    (For All) Basically better mobility during bosses. Not sure if vertical should be affected by vertical momentum of how high your are facing.
    Example Armor
    Backdashers are a pair of earlygame boots that serve as a vessel for the Major ID.

    +Stored Power
    Your Mana bar is replaced with a purple energy bar. Hit enemies with your melee attack to gain energy. Spend energy to cast spells.
    (For Archer, Assassin and Warrior) Promotes hybrid builds and is incredibly reliant on its item's high spell damage ID's
    Mana Regeneration & Steal don't do anything, Spell Cost Reductions are much weaker, and intelligence doesn't reduce spell costs. Energy gained per hit should probably be affected by attack speed.
    Example Weapons
    The Phlegethon-Forged Longsword is a spin-attack promoting DPS weapon and a blatant reference. I did not try too terribly hard to balance this.

    Everything Else
    I have two leftover item designs so I'm just gonna throw em here.
    Throwing Dagger (+Throwable) Midgame damage-oriented throwable.
    Blood-Fueled Buzzsaw (+Stored Power & +Flurry of Blows) Two Major IDs is crazy but this would be fun as hell. DPS btw.

    Ending Statement
    So yeah. I tried to make especially unique Major ID's, rather than flat stat changes (Ignore Fungal Infection.) Its unlikely that all or even any of these ever even get considered, but I still wanted to share them anyway because I've been working on this for two days now.

    All of these MIDs are really cool. Also Sprint Steal is something I never thought of but would be very nice. I feel like if Wynn were to add a proper parry, it would be in the form of an archetype rework/new class because its such a versatile idea. Or maybe they could just replace Parry and Counter with the functionality of Magic Parry.
    Sidestep + Magic Parry = Souls combat in Wynn, epic.
    I know it would be stupid broken but what if Flurry of Blows worked on all classes.
    Great ideas, high effort post.

    I love these!

    They break the mold (mostly) of what major IDs as of now are, which are sort of just 1 extra ability per archetype.

    This is that, but now for multiple classes (sorta)

    I really like the Sidestep one, I’d use it on my Assassin cause it would feel like an ACTUAL DASH, rather than charge but worse.

    The poison ones are cool too! I’d love to actually see them in game and test them out w/ Toxoplasmosis and Cytotoxic Striders!

    Thought so. Maybe cap it at 5-10%, and gain 1% every 3s?

    For reference, Bloodbath used to have 6% weaken enemy and that alone was busted enough it had to get cut from the weapon

    Ok Lmao, Then I would probably just cut it from the ID completely, and buff the Slow instead. It makes more sense to only be slow considering what its referencing anyhow.

    Interesting MIDs. Not so sure about the weapons but I think some of these are def. cool.

    Problem is that MIDs are exclusive to Fableds and Mythics, so these would need to be Fabled items. I'm in support of more, though.
