Game Mechanics Add Wynncraft Achievements

I think that it would a nice feature if Wynncraft allowed you to complete and track ingame achievements. These could be shown ingame in your compass and display on the stats website.

Examples of achievements that could exist:
Have an item equipped in every slot
Complete X Raid
Obtain a Mythic Item
Complete X Dungeon
Obtain a full set
Find a tier 4 chest
Open X amount of chests
Reach X Level
Complete X amount of Quests
Complete all quests in X region
Complete X storyline
Enter X region
Visit X Town
Obtain a Horse
Make a discovery


Maybe there could even be Limited Time achievements like:
Complete X Raid within the first 2 weeks of release

 

I don't think limited time achievements should be a thing, but achievements in general absolutely should be in game. It's a great way to motivate try hards to keep playing and it's definitely fit with the vibe of the game.

ANYTHING BEFORE 2018 is ancient!

 

I was chatting to one of my friends about this yesterday and thought it'd be amazing if getting certain achievements unlocked cosmetics as a reward, but only the hardest ones, e.g.
Maybe, opening 100, then 1000, then 10,000, then 100,000 chests would be achievements. The reward would just be personal pride, but maybe the final tier (in this example) would reward a helmet skin that turned your head into a chest.

Or reaching max level on Hardcore could give you a cosmetic that turns your shaman totem into a giant skull, or killing 1,000,000 mobs would give you a cosmetic to turn your meteor spell into a bomb (just semi-serious ideas)

Anyway, just fun cosmetic things to reward players for achieving incredible feats.

 

This would be a really good way to implement achievements. I generally dislike playing games without a goal or purpose, and having something to work for, however useless it may be, would make me much more interested in logging on more often.

 

Oh, there could also be achievements for professions and the rewards could be toys like the christmas tree that was a reward from a previous christmas event that you can use with cooldowns similar to World of Warcraft.
