Game Mechanics Item Reskinning

While we have the option to reskin weapons via crate rewards There are base weapon skins I wish I could put on some of my other weapons and there are also times where I wish I could change the look of my armor so a way to change how your armor/weapon looks from base skins would be nice

 

Wynncraft used to have armor skins but Mojang stepped in and told us to stop using them because they were messing with their skin database or something. I don't remember all the details.

 

I had meant more in the way of making an iron armor piece into like a gold/leather or some other type of armor but that is interesting
