While playing the Beta, I made a list of observations I made. They're all pretty much just about readability/visibility, as it's been pretty difficult to process information on the Beta (and I have made sure I am not using mods or shaders):

    I. name tags are barely readable outside a ~15 block radius
II. bank and trade market should not be dark; should match loot chest / player inventory
III. ability tree menu feels messier; while not exactly function impairing, it does feel less like runes and more like blobs of color
IV. mob levels are only readable at a close range

    Solutions I would prefer:
    I. restore the old name tag font, or make it less...? I cannot tell if it is the drop shadow or boldness of the new font that is causing me issue, but reducing that may help.
II. I like the new Trade Market and Bank backgrounds, but I feel they are too dark; ideally, they would maintain the same aesthetic and shaping, but with the much lighter wood/paper color found in chests and player inventory.
III. I'd prefer the old style, but this one isn't limiting in any way, maybe somewhere in between? (honestly it bothered me more than writing the list, I think I had some trouble navigating at first, but I don't care that much)
IV. Same as first thing, bring back the old style (or something comparable); as it stands, I cannot make out mob levels past a fairly short distance. If this is intentional, I think I understand, but if not it would help to increase the font size of mob levels

Going to put a little note here about mob name tags: I've noticed that the text distorts or renders behind the shadow
(insert closing remarks here, too tired to to do it right now)

100% agreed on the ability tree design. It looks like something you’d draw on paper, not runes carved into stone. The symbols themselves are kinda weird, too, like why does the yellow node look like a paw…

Huge agree on this. The only good part about the ATree UI rework is the archetype icons, which fit each one well, but every other thing reworked seemed like it was reworked for the sake of having it reworked rather than it feeling outdated. The old icons looked great imo as they felt like proper runes carved into stone. The new ones just look bubbly and synthetic. From what I've gathered on discord there is massive support for it being undone, and the two CT that replied both also said they preferred the old ability icons over the new ones.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I feel like they just went “oh let’s rework this too since we’re doing it for everything else” even though there’s literally no reason to. I think this is the only UI change that is an objective downgrade tbh (except for the archetype icons)
