An Idea For A Class (yes this is not the first and wont be the last)

    Before I Start A Few Warnings, I Suck At Spelling, Not The Best At Balancing, And I Know Odds Are This Won't Get Added But This Is Mostly For Fun, (Also I Have A Problem With Capitalizing Every Word's First letter And No I Wont Stop but i might randomly stop it if I'm tired or something)

    Anyways First Off The Class Is Called Reaper Its A Class Focused On Damage it has okay defense but not many abilities for defense it also has a bit of healing in its 4th spell soul reap, the class uses a scythe for its weapon

    First spell shadow reap 35 mana this does a 180 degree sweep in front of you deal 65% neutral dmg, 35% thunder, and 25% air a basic spell but not bad

    The second spell soul travel, 20 mana this spell will teleport you 2 blocks behind a nearby mob within a 5 block radius if there are none or if you sneak while casting it will teleport you backwards 3 blocks and dash you forwards about 6 blocks so the movement is a bit funky but allows for some dodging and can still be used to move by turning your head

    The third spell scything drop 40 mana, this spell makes your scythe do a swing from the back to front deal very high but pinpoint area damage deal 170% neutral, 90% thunder, 60% earth, and 30% water, this spell also has a small sorta stun lock but mostly just a very short stun of sorts, but victims can still move/escape without to much trouble

    Finally the 4th spell soul harvest, 35 mana, this spell would deal low AoE dmg within a 6 block radius dealing 15% neutral and 5% water but it would also heal the player for 2% of all mobs caught within the attack's hp with a max of 10% of the players max hp so it would be a heal with a small bit of damage

    Next up the skill tree arguably the most important part of any class this class's three archetypes are soul caster, necromancer, and death bounder (the second and third name need better names)

    First Off the soul caster, the soul caster can preform incredibly strong spells but needs souls in order to do it to get souls it needs to kill mobs with soul harvest this would be on the far left and would use the water elemental mastery, the first major node is called soul collector - killing mobs with soul harvest will give you souls casting shadow reap while you have at least 5 souls will cause it to launch out three soul dealing high damage this also makes soul harvest deal +15% neutral dmg and +10% water dmg the soul beams would deal 50% neutral and 30% water each, some of the nodes would increase soul harvest power, more heal, dmg, etc.
    and the final major node is called soul storm - casting soul harvest while you have 20 souls will create a dark mist in a 6 block radius dealing 2%neutral dmg and 1% water dmg per 0.25 seconds as well as release 10 lost souls that will seek out mobs dealing 60% neutral, 30% air dmg, and 20% water dmg as well as giving victims a stacking effect of 2% more damage taken for 7 seconds

    Next up the necromancer, this archetype uses earth and fire elements, it focus on killing mobs to gain more minions if it kills a mob with shadow reap they will come back to life as a minion to help you fight the first major node undead army - killing a mob with shadow reap with bring them bac to help fight for you they can have up to 25% of your stats you may have up to 3 of these minions +5 mana cost another node idea was that you could steal the soul from the mob to heal up to half of its remaining health, the final major node -feedback loop - your minions can each summon up to 2 minions with stats equal to theirs. mobs summoned by summons can not spawn more minions -3 max minions, necromancer is kind of lame but I just couldn't think of anything cool for it and I am open for suggestions for it

    Finally death bounder this archetype focus on using its life to deal more damage with the first major node being death bound - casting a spell while sneaking will consume 1% of your hp to deal 30% of the dmg inflicted as poison over 3 seconds to the victim, and the final major node being death loop - killing a mob will put 1% of your hp into a pool your next attack with scything drop will use all of the dmg pool as extra damage, a max of 100% dmg pool.

    anyways this is just an idea very scuffed and I hate typing so I probably missed a lot of stuff but what do you think?

    I like the concept but I feel like a lot of the mechanics are quite situational because you need to kill mobs to trigger them - what if you're fighting a boss and there aren't any other mobs in the room?
    Personally I'd change some of the mechanics so you only have to hit enemies to trigger them, so that the class is more consistent. Otherwise I think the overall design looks really good.

    yeah thats fair i though of it a bit but ti was also like 2 in the morning when i though of the whole boss thing so yeah

    I really like this concept, but as others said it relies very heavily on killing mobs which might make it not as good during boss fights. If it was based off of hits instead of kills, I think it would be much more viable. I also really like the concept of Soul Harvest, being able to heal by using an offensive ability sounds awesome!
