Game Design Caves xp reward chests

There are cases where theyre usefull:
- New players at lower levels might miss them
- Some chests spawn in a weird spot
- Caves with multiple paths need them

Most of the time they arent helpfull though, since you already know whats going on (Or they spawn in the single exit of the cave)

 

I agree. What bothers me particularly about them is that I haven’t been able to find a pattern as to which caves have the animation and which don’t. If they all had it, or if only the ones that really needed it had it, it wouldn’t be so weird. But as it stands, it seems kind of random.

 

Im pretty sure it is random with a few exeptions that always have it. I dunno if its like this due to time constraints or not fully thinking the UX through, but I think they know about this issue already and are going to fix it some time
