Game Mechanics New Class Idea/Concept

Wynncraft has plenty of class types to choose from. Each of the Five containing Three strains of the class. All the classes are for different sources of damage. Archer for range. Warrior for melee. Assassin for close combat. Mage for magic. Shaman for summon. These are all different outputs for damage (idk for warrior and assassin, but you get the point). I think Wynncraft should add a Guard/Protector class for parry and blocking damage types. They already have reflection added to the game maybe this could be a class focused on that feature. The only problem I see about it is that the classes should be the same amount as the number of elements in the game and adding a sixth would interfere with that.

We aren't going to add classes based on a random suggestion. Over the course of the almost 11 years we've been running, the only addition to the roster has been Shaman.
A "guard" class overlaps with the archetype of Paladin, as well as niche builds and playstyles of warrior (notably the Guardian mythic). If we were to introduce a new class, it would have to have its own identity.

 

Paladin already has exactly what you described. IF they were to add a new class in the future, it would be something unique, and theres not much they can do thats unique. Which is why a new class is highly unlikely to ever happen. They've already done every type of fighting. Theres the Beserker, theres the Caster, theres the Close Ranged type, Theres the Ranged, and theres the Summoning type. There really isn't anything else they can do with classes, even a necromancer would be just like summoner.

 

im trying to craft something at a low level but i cant anymore. idk if im like insane but wasn't there feature i could scroll back to lower levels in crafting stations.
