Yes, I know this has been brought up before. I'm making this post because we never got a single reason why it won't be implemented. Every time this subject has been brought up (seen like 3 or 4 posts about it) the thread is locked without a single explanation regarding logistical issues or any other possible problem with it being added as a feature. And there has not been a single poll without resounding positive feedback in favor of adding this. At the very least, a reason for this not being possible would be nice before it just gets locked and ignored.

Anyways, if spaces in the command would cause problems, a fix could be putting quotations around the name you wish to give your pet. And I suppose if something like "/renamepet default" would actually rename the pet to "default", a new command like /resetpetname would surely not be that hard to add?

Secondly, it would be incredibly convenient to be able to delete pets that have been redeemed. It is made clear in the pet token's lore that it cannot be scrapped after use, but I think being able to convert it back to a token at the cost of all its levels or even delete it with zero return would be a good QoL feature for the folks that have ended up with overflowing pet menus.
