Game Mechanics Global and Character cosmetics!

    Currently you have to set the cosmetics for each character individually. Itd be cool if there were two cosmetic menus.

    One for setting global default cosmetics. These would apply when no other cosmetic is chosen on a specific character. If you dont choose any global cosmetics, it would be like it is now.

    The second menu is the character cosmetics. These overwrite the global cosmetic settings for that class. There would also be a new "no cosmetic" option for the character cosmetics menu, to prevent the global cosmetic setting taking over when you actually dont want any cosmetics active for that character.

    There would be a button in the character cosmetics menu to unselect all cosmetics so youd see the global ones again. Thered also be a button to set all of them to "no cosmetics".

    In the global menu there would be a reset button so you can remove all global cosmetics you chose before.

    To clarify: If you want to use global cosmetics for your new character, exept the hat for example, youd just change the hat in the character cosmetics menu of that class and leave everythin else on the global setting.

    This way you can change every classes cosmetics that are set to global at the same time.

    The global menu would have a weapon skin selection for every classes weapon of course.

    I am aware that this isnt anything important and there are other things to spend dev time on, but I think itd be cool. Maybe itd be too confusing when there are two menus, but I think its quite intuitive and easy to understand. If you dont like the idea, please write why down below,

    The only thing this is even applicable to is hats. Weapon cosmetics are different for every class.

    Imagine youd have to change your minecraft skin for every world and server you join individually, instead of just changing the skin in the minecraft launcher. Thats basically what this is about. I want every character to have the same cosmetics, and if i want to change something about that look id have to change it for every character individually. I know its not a big deal.

    To me what this "general suggestions" subforum is about random ideas i think are cool, ignoring factors like dev time and what other things are prioritised and instead focusing on the idea itself. Is it more helpful than confusing? Does it fit into the game in general? If the idea is worth actually doing is up to the staff to decide. Realistically, this feature isnt necessary at all as there are like 3 character slots in total anyway, I just think itd be handy.

    And yes there are multiple classes with diffrent weapons. You would be able to set a weapon skin for every type of weapon in the global cosmetics menu. (Its not only hats, theres also player effects, attack effects, maybe even pets in the future (.-.))
