Website & Forums Pinned list of common suggestions and no brainers

Add a pinned thread with ideas the wynn team wants to implement in the future (Common stuff, no spoilers of course) It would be there to say "We know about these ideas and like them, be exited for their future implementation". There could also be a list of things they wont ever add too.

Heres some examples that could be there:
(Ive gathered these from other posts. These arent very detailed/some dont align with my opinions)

Systems:
- Remove/Rework ability shards
- Rework soul points
- Rework professions
- Rework guilds
- Add ability to replay certain content

World:
- Redo the placement of various barrier blocks (Some feel weirdly placed)
- Ocean rework
- World bosses
- Gavel dungeons/Wynn raids

Commands:
- /toggle shouts
- /skip cutscene

Qol:
- Restack consumables (If you have two 1/2 use pots of the same type for example)
- Remove/Replace quest helmets
- Option to swap bank pages around
- Scrap blocks (+Liquid Scrap :D)
- Store more info between logins (Content book settings, what pets should be out, what quest is tracked, etc.)
- Option to speed up seaskipper

 

Ya can't just go saying "Rework this!". A lot of these are already known to (not) be possible, discused and even planned.
Skip-able cutscenes would be nice.
Storing more info between logins also seems useful.

I actually have a soulpoint replacement suggestion nearly completed.

 

I say in my post that these "arent very detailed" and just serve as an example for the stuff that could go in a pinned post, which is what my suggestion is about. I suggested it because you sometimes see people suggest something, and then someone will go "Look at this link, someone confirmed it there" or something along those lines. Would be nice to have a single post you can read instead of multiple sources.

 

The team said they were planning on removing soul points, so...

I think itd still be cool, but maybe too much work for too little I guess

 

I don't think we've talked about any of these. If you're going to try to find examples, find ones that are actually confirmed like the removal of soul points.

I think more important would be some form of general guidelines for posts that can be pointed to. We aren't going to add random class ideas and are especially not going to add entirely new map expansions out of nowhere. We arent looking for suggestions for new raids or new dungeons, as if we intend to add new content we already have our own ideas we intend on using as opposed to a random suggestion.
Obviously as samsam said above, that won't stop people from doing it anyways, but I think having that to point to is far more useful than a list that would likely find itself incredibly outdated very quickly

You really cant complain about bad suggestions, look at it this way, the game has people exited and invested enough to even care to write suggestions and ideas for improvement for it.

 

The issue is it doesn't elaborate too much on what "is it possible" and "does it fit" entail

 

The common player is probably not gonna know what is possible to add and may not know if it will fit. And let's be honest, won't be bothered to look at all the past suggestions to know if stuff has been suggested. Whose fault it is? The players if they don't look at all but if they do look but dont find it but it turns out to be something already denied then no.

You should add links to other posts saying this so if players want more information that can see and interact with those posts.

 

Id like to but itd take too long probably...

(Also suggestions might be taken more seriously/better quality if you spend more time on them so it taking longer isn't bad...............)
