World Additional LI Gamemodes

This is a new forum account because my previous one got hacked and I cant access it and/or it's deleted.
Anyways here's my idea:

We already have the endgame LI boss rush. Good idea for an endgame challenge. It's classic, it's easy, and it's fun to do. However, I have a tiny suspicion that they'll be doing a Corkus rework not too far in the future. Sounds like a good opportunity to update LI if you ask me.

My first idea is to have a mob rush/wave where it works similar to lootrun challenges mixed with grind spots such as the church in SE. Waves of mechs would be released into the arena for the player to fight. As the player defeats more waves, they get progressively harder as their stats and attacks increase and become harder to survive. The more waves the player survives, the more loot they get when they die or surrender. Lastly, you could probably throw in a miniboss/boss every once and a while.

My second idea is to use the arena for PVP. Where instead of finding someone in your world to duel, you could join a queue to be paired up with someone to duel that has similar skill and gear to you. You could also have additional features to filter or toggle in your duel such as powerups, obstacles, or even special modes like sumo.

Anyways that's my suggestion.

TL:DR, Legendary Island mob rush and duel gamemode might be cool.

 

I think another thing to add on to this would be adding more bosses to LI, and making each tier a pool of bosses that can be fought, so for some food for thought here as an example (I'll be using original names cuz i dont feel like making puns, and yes i'll include preexisting ones unless they're soon to be removed):

Bronze Tier Pool:
The Mummy, Olux Plague Doctor, Dr. Essren (he has a new script spell), Heart of Lava, Cockatrice, Bigfoot, Volatile Fleris, Bob's Pets (Cluckles, Mooington, Baab), Mother Drill, Haros, Rymek Luke, Tribe Zombies, Blade of Shade

Silver Tier Pool:
Matryoshka Idol, Titanium Rat, Death Metal, Quartron (if possible), Warden of Wisdom, Arrai Veretel, Garvan, Krolton, Durum Protector, Beast & Enslaved, Vulcor Adrenophage

Gold Tier Pool:
Corrupter of Worlds, Bob's Reincarnation, Orange Cybel, Amadel, Lari, Canary

(not doing rev of skien cuz thats basically matryoshka idol)

Anyways onto the suggestion itself and not a suggestion for a suggestion:

Neat concept but I think in execution it would just be a glorified grind spot.

Neat idea though I think Housing works for it well enough.

 

I'll plug the PVP arena with a burning passion

 

Witness Church wouldn't work. Hardly anyone is aware of the existence of the Silent Expanse, and Doctor Legendary isn't one of those people

 

i think that's used as an example of similar gameplay and not Dr legendarys inspiration for the mechs

 

I love this idea please randomize LI bosses

I would especially love to see Rymech Luke. I love him so much

 

That was sort of the idea but yeah it could just drown out any other grind spot if it would still give xp. I was thinking this would only give loot and no XP

turrets around the edges

Dropper drones that drop tnt similar to Dr. Legendary's fight

Landmines that spawn around the arena

etc
